The Donut Nook! What can I say? It's the absolute ???? for doughnuts. The best doughnuts. I have been customer there since I was... a kid. The chocolate chip squares are a recipe from Heaven. Two stars max for this place. I gave it an honest chance and all I can say is that The Donut Nook is overrated. The donuts... here are very fluffy and oily, borderline undercooked. One apple fritter will soak through the bag in an oily mess and fallapart from gravity. A quality fritter should have a pronounced crust and crunch and maintain its shape. There are multipleissues that I have noticed with this place. On the weekends, the line is out the door and most people are buying large numbersof donuts per order. The staff is running ragged and they cannot make the donuts fast enough. If you ask for a maple bar, youmight get a chocolate bar because of the chaos. You would think this is a good sign but the reality is that this causes thequality of the product to suffer and the donuts coming out of this shop are not very good. They are oily, soft, and wet. As along time donut lover, I cannot recommend the The Donut Nook at this time. Read more
Went in to buy some doughnuts ???? tonight, and was told they only take cash. I know some people are a little "old fashioned,"... but seriously, who doesn't take cards these days? My hometown, Population 150, up in the middle of nowhere, has a General Storethat takes cards. Seriously, get with the times people. Square isn't expensive to get or hard to use. Read more
We ordered a dozen donuts and got one extra for free. Which was amazing!! There were soo many options to pick from. So it was... pretty hard to pick. And the donuts are huge and soo delicious. Definitely recommend them. Read more
