Reasonably priced, super authentic, incredibly fast, ridiculously nice, absolutely delicious. All of the meat choices have... different flavor and texture profiles, so you can get the same dish in a huge variety of ways if you normally get carne asada onyour burrito and just aren't feeling it that day The beans, rice, meat, and everything is all seasoned perfectly and allcompliment each other very nicely. There's spice, but it has a reasonable spectrum of heat that will satisfy the wide variety ofheat tolerances people have. And the salsa, especially the red spicy salsa which is my favorite, is some of the best homemadesalsa I've had from anywhere, restaurant or home cooks. They have it in pico de gallo style for mild, and a smooth blend forspicy. The salsa is the shining star that solidifies this restaurant as one of the best Mexican joints I've eaten atperiod. 11/10, 5/7, 20/20, 3 thumbs up, and a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. If you like authentic Mexican style food and live inchico, you're doing yourself a disservice to not try this restaurant at least once. Read more

One of my favorite restaurants to go to in the Chico area as their food never disappoints. From their food choices such as... California Fries to the Deluxe Super Burrito, everything is really good. I love Mexican food and is a place you would have totry if you ever go to Chico. The vibe is really friendly and free flowing too so it's not that rowdy. It can also be a place formultiple occasions such as bringing family or friends. The best burritos in town in my opinion! Read more

My husband and I went here over the weekend for an early dinner. First thing is that their drinks are listed on the back but... they didn't have the first two beers that he wanted. Secondly the gal never wrote our order down on a ticket so when my drinkarrived it was not the size that I had ordered. The chili rellenos were horrible and the sauce was not a Mexican sauce but achicken cacciatore sauce. Didn't know this was an Italian restaurant. My husband said his burrito was okay. This restaurant hasa capacity of 58, and with only three tables the two waitresses couldn't handle it. We waited up front for 10 minutes before wewere even able to pay for our meal and when we asked for a receipt it wasn't but a credit card receipt. They couldn't offer us aticket that listed what the cost of each item was so we totaled it up in our heads to ensure we were charged the correct price.We won't return. Read more
