Today another FCE (First Capital Enterprises)staff member Joan and myself brought a group of our individuals in to Highland?s... Ice Creamery for an afternoon treat. Our family tried this establishment for the first time this evening and were pleasantly surprised by every aspect of it. Samples... were readily available to find the correct flavors for us, prices were very reasonable, and the owners were the proverbialcherry on top. Quaint little Ice Creamery! It's a small shop with that good ole' mom-n-pop feel to it. The man and woman running it were very... pleasant and helpful. They'd give you samples before buying and would answer any questions you have. We enjoyed our ice creamthere inside. The man came over and told us to go check out the Adena Mansion. He even described how to get there and to be sureand check out the old barn on the grounds too. Overall a pleasure to have stopped here and we will be back as soon as we getback into town! Read more
