Pretty cool place and my grandkids love it when I take them to Whit's!
It tastes great, literally my only complaint is they weirdly insist on using words other than "blended" and "mixed on top". I... know what I mean, you know what I mean, let's just proceed with the exchange of goods and services. Ice cream is worth itthough. Stop here every so often for a nice treat. The kids who were there the last time I stopped were very friendly and helpful.
Well we finally tried Whit?s. I tried their butter pecan and it, and the waffle cone, where delicious. I had never had custard... and enjoyed it but it is VERY sweet. This will have to be a rare treat type of thing. Read more
I really love this place. I can always depend on them to deliver good quality food. Their Peanut Butter Madness made Whitzer... style is my go to as you always taste the Peanut butter. It beats the DQ blizzard hands down! I can't tell you how many times Iordered a PB blizzard with extra PB and could still barely taste it. Hot dogs with sauce? Oh yea they have them and they aredelicious! And as an added bonus they are actually cooked! When you order one they steam the hot dog and bun and then dress itthe way you ordered it. HOT DOG! Also if you didn't know their milkshakes are out of this world as well. Of course I wouldrecommend Their Peanut Butter ones. Very Very good! Read more
Great food and great custard. Got a footlong coney dog and a grasshopper whitser. Price wasn't too expensive.
Update November 2022 I have been visiting Chillicothe for a month now; by far, this establishment was t h e worst customer... experience thus far. Custard kids is an apt description comparing to other places you might go in town. Horrible experience.Immature teenager at the front who took our order hands me a milkshake covered with excess custard all over the outer cup; Iwent to get napkins to clean the cup, dispenser empty; dispenser is then filled upon request but so tight that the napkins willnot dispense. I think this place rests on its local laurels and the reality is quite different. If you get an arrogantself-absorbed teenager upon entry, walk out, go to any number of other ice cream shops in town, skip the teenage custard kids. Read more
