I had this place saved on my ?want to go? list for the longest time and just happened to be in Chilliwack for a taco Tuesday. I... was slightly disappointed as my food seemed a bit bland compared to what I was expecting (enchiladas), however, quality wassuper fresh and my partner had tacos and he enjoyed them and said they were some of the best. We also ordered guacamole andchips and it came with three salsas/sauces and all were super good. The guacamole tasted great. The margarita was kind ofdisappointing. Read more
I had the beef huarache. It was good, but not amazing. The outdoor seating can be loud due to the busy road. The sign for the... restaurant is only visible in one direction, so it?s hard to know where to turn when you?re turning right into the lot. Read more
Food and drinks were delicious, atmosphere is great too. The guacamole is also 10/10.
Can?t believe I?ve never been to this place before, the food was SO good! They have tons of vegetarian options, which is always... great. The Flautas was definitely my favourite dish, so flavourful and the filling was amazing. The Queso Fundido was alsoreally yummy but I didn?t like the vegan chorizo in there. The best taco is definitely the Taco de Coliflor. The deserts ALLlooked good but we went with the safest and least messy option which was just the 4 CHURROS! with added cajeta. The drinks arepretty mediocre except for the Horchata which was soooo good. Only downside of this location was the service. They forgot togive us cutlery, we kept having to wait long periods of time in between seeing any server, and our food took forever to come. Anhour dinner turned into a two hour outing because of how delayed everything was. But other than that, really cute place and thefood definitely makes up for the service. Read more
There are a lot of different Mexican restaurants here in the whack. Each one has their strong suit. Hugo's selection is quite... nice. I haven't had a lot of items on the menu yet but what I have had has been consistenly tasty. Their sopa de tortilla isfantastic. Lots of cilantro, onions and fixings. Their flautas are action packed with toppings. The chilaquiles remind me ofmornings in sayulita opening up the rental shop and having Cecilia bring me a homemade batch. While listening to a podcast about how tacos work (thank you, Stuff You Should Know) we had to google tacos nearby! Found Hugo?s... in Chilliwack. Such a great spot to grab a bite! Tacos were really tasty, good selection for all dietary needs (the Cactus tacowas unique and delicious!) and ample toppings!! Plus great service! We?ll be back. Read more
Awesome Chili Relano!!! Actually had cheese in it! Beans were alright but rice wasn't my favorite. Horchata was so tasty, wanted... to drive back for another! Get one! Did takeout, place looked nice, customers seemed happy. Worth a visit for sure. Price was abit higher than most places I've eaten same meal but what's $5 here or there.
