Great buffet for being outside the Vancouver city area - Food always tastes great but the egg foo young is without gravy: very... unusual - traditional Chinese food always has egg foo young with gravy - even the Chinese restaurants in Vancouver have gravyfor the egg foo young - please add it to the buffet so that it can be a vast improvement Read more

Got the shrimp from here last time and got extremely sick. The last few experiences I had with the food were HORRIBLE. You could... say the food has the same smell as the atrocious smelling bathroom at this restaurant. I would not recommend this place to myworst enemy. Come eat here if you love getting sick! This is one of the better Chinese buffet restaurants that I've been to in a long while. The hot trays contained food that was... fresh, hot and delicious. Not only that, the food was varied and plentiful. The hostess could not have been nicer. The pricewas about average for a buffet on the weekend. I would highly recomment this restaurant. Read more

Went for the dinner buffet tonight. Fried chicken was rotten. I cut it open with my knife and before I can take a bite I was... able to smell the foulness of the spoiled meat. Person sitting across the table from me could smell it as well. When the servercame by I quietly told her that the chicken was rotten. She apologized and said will let the kitchen know. When I went to paythe bill, I was hoping for some sort of compensation whether it be a refund or a gift card, no such luck. Paid regular price andwalked out. So that's that. Read more

It's been a while since I've been here. This used to be a good bang for buck restaurant. Before, soft drinks were included in... the price of the buffet, but that is no longer the case, and on top of that prices have gone up. The staff are friendly and dida good job of checking in on you and clearing out plates and bringing out new ones. The restaurant interior is very nice withplenty of seating. Having said that, the rest of the experience wasn't that great. First of all, everything was sticky: thetables, and the food scoopers. The selection of the food was not as much as it used to be. There was an entire row of buffettrays that were empty. There was as many hot food items as there were dessert items. You have only the basics, which is fine ifthey tasted really good. But unfortunately the food was lackluster. Maybe they've been soaking there for too long, but thewontons were completely tasteless. The "fried rice", might as well been plain white rice. The fried items: fries, chickennuggets and spring rolls were fine. The chow mein and rice noodles were bland. The Chinese BBQ pork was probably their besthighlight. There is a nice selection of ice cream though. Of the Mandarin Garden's in the Fraser Valley, I'd stick with the onein Abbotsford. Read more

Sweet and sour pork was extremely bland. Chicken chow mein also had no flavor. However pork sizes were decent and tender.
