Delicious food! We liked it so much we ate dinner there twice during our trip to Chincoteague. Food is made to order so it was... nice and hot. Ingredients were fresh and portions were perfect. The chicken was perfectly seasoned. We will return! Read more

My girlfriend mentioned there was a Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich in Chincoteague so I had to try it. I lived in Nashville for... 13 years and Hattie B's, which I personally would choose over the original Prince's Hot Chicken, is always top of my list to eatwhen I travel back there. Having been let down so many times by people trying to duplicate Nashville's claim, I had high hopeswhen I heard the Better. owner had traveled there and came back with a seacret or two. Well this is as close as it comes outsideof Nashville! I meant to complete this review a year ago when I first tried it, but just now realized I had not completed myreview until my girlfriend, who was in Chincoteague, stopped by to bring me one home for dinner three whole states away toFenwick Island (Ha! It's a little over an hour away). A big thank you to the gentleman for the extra care you showed her intransporting the sandwich! While I'm sure there is other great food in Chincoteague, I can't imagine ever visiting there withoutpicking up this little reminiscent taste of Music City! You all nailed it! Read more

Allergy/Sensitivity foodie here, and I'm doing the "I found a food truck at the beach that fried me a giant box of Brussels... sprouts" dance! Went at opening (not busy yet) and had a nice long discussion with the owners about ingredients and theyhappily showed me all their labels. I ended up needing fried veg (sprouts and a potato rocket) with nothing on it (I lug aroundmy own box of salt and condiments) but they were accommodating and I enjoyed an amazing and rare meal out. And the food wasdelicious. Note: they fry in PEANUT OIL. My husband had the schnitzel without cheese and loved it. Prices might be higher thanMcDonald's, but for real, simple, non-junk food made-to-order, I think it's worth every penny to support a rare gem like this. It really is BETTER. Read more

Better is aptly named and about sums it up! You had "better" know what you are doing when you put shrimp and grits on the menu... on a seafood island like CI...and they were better than the best we've had in a long time...and we know our shrimp andgrits...Let's talk the New England style clam chowder...!!! C'mon Man!!!??? Fresh, hearty, seasoned with fresh herbs, tons ofclams...yes and yes...completely addicting...going back to ask if they will sell me some in quarts to take home...Kids loved thepotato spiral on a stick and everything came out hot and fresh...legit restaurant on wheels and family owned and operated! Thank-you Chef and family...great food Great service...Better not change a thing! Read more

I was on the fence about what to get so I got the Turkey Sandwich and Brussel sprouts. That sandwich was amazing. Brussels were... very good as well, very large portion but I think I wouldn't get them again because I can only take them in small amounts ingeneral. That's just me, nothing wrong at all with Better.'s. I really want to try the Soup though. Read more
