Food was ok, service horrible. Got there a little after 6 and told a 40 min wait. Decided to wait understanding it was prime... dinner time. Watched as 4 tables sat totally empty and cleaned for 10 minutes before anyone was seated. Once we were seatedwaited 5 mins or so until our waitress came to take our drink order and we went ahead and ordered as well. We ordered oysters onthe half shell as a starter, 3 seafood feasts and chicken Alfredo. Waitress brought our drinks and salads fairly quickly. Waitedaverage tine for food and when it was brought I asked about the oysters on the half shell. She had forgot them and asked if Istill wanted them and I said well I ordered them figuring they would be brought out before the main course. Waited 10 moreminutes for the oysters while eating the main course. When they were brought she left the table and waited another 10 minutesfor her to come back to see if they had Tabasco sauce, another 5 minutes before she came back and said no we don't. Finishedeating and waited 15 mins for our check to be brought and then another 15 and still not back for us to pay. Went and asked thehostess and she said oh she has that big table. Went to bar to get change to leave total plus tip. Went back without change andshe had forgot my son's to go container and was gone another 10 mins before coming back with container and to take the money.Another 5 to 10 for change to be brought. Over 3 hours to eat dinner!! We have been going there for 8 years and won't be back. Also no prices on menu and online doesnt show all. Total bill for 4 wothout any alcohol or appetizers was $168!! We will findanother restaurant to eat at on our vacation to Chincoteague. Read more

Hot large portion of fried clams. Sides of sweet potatoe fries and hush puppies were also a large portion and came out hot. The... Orange Crush has been the best on the island so far! Read more

Follow me to see what's next! We really wanted seafood and Steamers is never my first choice. It's a little too 'tourist... prices' for me. However, there were not a lot of open places on this little Island paradise on a Tuesday night. Steamers wasquite busy and our wait was nearly an hour. After we were seated we didn't have a server for some time. We finally got up andfound someone otherwise I think we would still be sitting there waiting and waiting and waiting for a glass of water. I had thefried flounder. It was a nice sized portion and lightly breaded. I enjoyed it very much. My dining companions had a burger andcrab medallions. They didn't seem too impressed with either -- but the burger eater said that the bun was nice. Not really thereaction I'm going for when having a burger. Four adults eating and the check was $109 + tip. ?? If you found this reviewhelpful hit ???? Read more

The seafood feast was pretty good. I normally hate fish (like flounder) and god forbid me esting an oyster or clam. I ate... pretty much everything. The fliunder was not fishy and the clams didn't taste like a buttock. Read more

Very average but certainly not bad. Wasn't crowded and server was very nice. Limited beer selection. Nice menu and food was... pretty good. Ambiance is a bit dark. Meal cost more than expected. Overall, a fine choice but nothing special. Read more

Stopped here tonight while on an overnight stay traveling with our three kids and needed somewhere to get fresh local seafood... and wow they did not disappoint. My wife ordered oysters on the half shell and they were so good she ordered anotherround (she's loves oysters). I ordered the peel and eat shrimp appetizer and the steamed clams and both were well above average. The chicken chunks in the kids meal were real pieces of boneless breast and beaded, no frozen junk. I love orange crushes andthey claim to have the best around and they aren't kidding. Not sure I'll be back in this area anytime soon but if I am, thereis no doubt I'm coming back here. When an area is known for oysters and fresh seafood, stick to it and you won't bedisappointed. If you are looking for a fine dining establishment, this isn't for you. If you are looking for a fun place to kickback, relax, have a few drinks and a good time?this is for you! Read more

Very nice spacious dining room. Started off with the fried pickles appetizer. Very crispy and nice flavorful breading. Main... course was Seafood Dream and Fried Shrimp. The shrimp were massive! Side items of green beans and sweet potato fries served weregenerous portions. Had leftovers for the next day. Stephanie was our waitress and was excellent. She always checked on us, askedif we needed anything and offered drink refills before we even knew we needed one. Will return many more times in the future! This is a must stop on Chincoteague. First time experience with the restaurant and we clearly over ordered. LOL The steamed crab and shrimp were great, the crab dip... came in a crusty bread bowl, the coconut shrimp came with a yummy dipping sauce, and the sides were delicious. We got this to goduring a recent stay on the island. Thanks for the delicious dinner to go! We will be back. ???? Read more
