Had a disappointing lunch at Black Bear Diner. I ordered a turkey club and expected the usual triple stacked sandwich and got... this. Seriously, I thought it was a mistake. I paid nearly $14 for this half a sandwich. I asked the waiter if it was a mistake.He took it to the kitchen, talked for a minute, then came back and said that's what you get. A closer look revealed that theystuck 2 halves together, so it looked like half a sandwich. When I pulled them apart, there was so little meat, that it was morelike a very thin bread sandwich. The service also was not great. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Cheers, friends! Update: Black Bear Dinerrequested details from my visit. I sent a detailed message with the photo to them. Waiting to hear their resolution. Iexplained I don't want a refund or free meal. My purpose for posting is to provide feedback to businesses, our community,visitors, and folks just passing through. Guys!! Guys!! This place is soo cute! Bears everywhere! We came here on a wednesday morning and got sat down right away. I... had french toast 2 eggs and ham they came down in less than 10 minutes. Excellent value at breakfast. Came in hungry and went home with leftovers. Came in starving after workout and ordered the... chicken fried steak and eggs. Food came out quickly and was presented beautifully. Service was responsive and friendly and theatmosphere of the restaurant was very nice. My food looks fake. I assure you it was not. So good! Great service and great meals. The pot roast was so good definitely... recommend! It?s on the smaller dinner portion of their menu. I haven't been to this restaurant in awhile, it's still a good place to eat. I had the turkey club with fries it was excellent. ... Service was great our server was on it! 8 of us and he went above and beyond to make sure we got everything we needed. We willdefinitely be back! So if you're in the area stop by and give them a try. I went in with high expectations. After standing at the entrance to be seat for awhile I had to ask someone if I should continue... waiting or take a sit? Someone then acknowledged and came over to take my name down, I was seated quickly. I will say afterthat, the staff was friendly and attentive. It might have been they were too busy at the moment. Based on the reviews, I mighthave went in with maybe too high expectations. It was ok, it was like any other ok breakfast. I will say the ham was very tasty.I had the apple pie with ice cream. Awesome food & service! We enjoyed breakfast and now can't wait to do dinner! Josh was our server and he was great! I sat by the... kitchen and noticed their take-out routine and I love how careful, clean & quickly they handle the orders! In case anyone isinterested in take-out, looks like you'll be happy.
