I ordered the Com-steak, the description says Garlic seasoned Filet Mignon steak. I didn't taste the garlic, the taste is... actually the sauce roasted onion aroma, and a bit of black pepper steak taste. The beef is so tender and the meat and riceportions match very well. The dipping sauce is the standard Spicy House Dipping Sauce. But it's not spicy at all, more sweetand sour. Read more
Cool a new place ! Interesting to see a different style of how Vietnamese food is served. They have these boxes they put the... food in and my order actually came in a tote bag to go. I?m assuming it may be a grand opening thing. Either or the place lookedclean and well lit but the location is a a bit hidden by Gen Korean bbq. Food The food was pretty decent for the price. I?mused to some other places that may have a bit more flavor, but I do appreciate how this place seems a bit ?healthier? to me.(Not as oily as other places) What we tried was: Mi Xao Garlic Noodle with filet mignon- this dish was pretty good, garlicnoodle was packed w garlic and it had some fresh vege on the side. I wished the beef was not as cooked or I believe it may bemore juicier. Bun - Vegetarian - this was quite refreshing compared to other places we have tried Viet style Chicken Wings -skin was still crispy, decent, and not too dry or too wet. Shrimp and Sweet potato Fritters- I believe this was one of thehighlight dishes, that my wife and daughter enjoyed. They believe it could have a bit more flavor but loved the ?funnel cake?like texture. Thai Tea with crystal boba- this was one of my highlights as the crystal boba was good, and the Thai tea for oncewas not overall sweet. Would order this again. The order process was quite fast, and they also do have a website. It was a bitcomplicated to order at first but after we checked the website it was more clear on what each order was. Definitely lives up to the taste of their Westminster location. Their bánh cu?n is superb! I got their special combo, the... bánh cu?n and pork loaf tasted exactly how I remembered it. Their shrimp fritter seems to be fried a bit differently, it seemsmore consistent but not as crunchy, however it seems to fair better traveling so perhaps that's why they changed up therecipe. Their packaging is impeccable which makes delivery orders efficient, reducing tampering and spillage. Even their to gobags are reusable making it hard to want to part with it. That's another bag paying tribute to the mountain of its brethren inmy garage... Though Vietnamese food is not lacking around this area, bánh cu?n was the one thing I missed moving away from OC.It is the perfect cuisine during hot weather. Now I don't have to worry anymore!! I grew up eating Tay Ho & when I saw this location, I came in with my family to try it. The banh cuon tastes exactly as their... old locations but with newer different packaging in a cardboard box. I prefer the old plastic container. It?s nice they openedup a location in Chino Hills bc it gets tiring traveling to the 626 for authentic Vietnamese food I grew up eating. Whateveryou do, don?t get the jasmine green tea. It?s freaking $3 & it?s just a plain ice tea? not worth it bc it?s not even the bobakind of tea but a freakin? tra da they use to sell back in the day for like 60¢. I know things have changed but come on. Dohowever, get the coffee bc it?s super rich & tastes better than Lee?s ice coffee. Read more
Presentation of food for to go is impressive. Taste is good and reminds me of when parents would pick up banh cuon in... westminster. The food is good, and pleasant surprise to have it closer to me in Chino. Will come again and try out the otherofferings! Read more
