3 Star Review only because our server was great. Kalaveras is a good place for an occasional night out without the drive. Food... is good, drinks can also be good. Their serving portions are generous. We have been 3 or 4 times now, I'm not sure if I had notnoticed before but this last visit I was charged an 18% Service Fee! After the service fee and tip, we were well over $400 for 3individuals. That 18% Service Fee is seriously outrageous for a place like this, we liked it here however with an 18% servicefee, there are several other options only a few minutes away. Read more
The place was good, the food felt more authentic than other places I been. The alcoholic drinks were strong and decent for the... price. I like the t.v. playing all the music videos. The waitress we had on July 30th, she went above and beyond and was verynice. If you bring a friend, they make a huge production out of it, it was cute and definitely loud. Ambiance was fun! Servers were super friendly! And the music is great! The lighting is really cool. The prices are a bit high... but the food did deliver. I think previous reviews about loud music do not make sense as there are so many clear indicators thatthis is a cantina and not a Mimi’s Cafe. Great date spot! Read more
Food was delicious, ceviche was super fresh. Really enjoyed the cheesy shrimp enchiladas. Our server was phenomenal. The group... all liked their cocktails. Be warned… this was the LOUDEST restaurant I’ve ever been to. Our table of 7 had a hard timetalking, but it was a fun atmosphere. Read more

Very festive spot but more so for a celebration or a group of people, it gets freaking loud and the "variety" of music was... reggaeton, that's it! The appetizers and cocktail prices all seemed high for the type of food and portions. We ordered quesofundido and taquitos. The margarita sampler was fun and probably my favorite part. I appreciate the presentation and artmurals, they were all beautiful and bright, you're surrounded by vivid colors. Read more

Really great spot. Food was good and the menu had a great hybrid selection. The drink menu was even better. The music was... sometimes just too loud. Also, the restaurant was absolutely freezing inside. Everyone around us were saying how cold it was.Will definitely come back to eat and enjoy. With jacket and beanie on. Read more
