The lack of quality and service is bad... Took forever to get our food(like over an hr for appetizers), even after reminding... staff... As an attempted apology, if you call it that, we were told the waitress was 14 or 15 years old... And "We need to bepatient." We responded that we were being patient... Our response is that if she is that young, how can she serve usbeer/beverages without other staff assisting her? Also If she is that young/untrained, then why isn't staff training her to helpher learn and not be so forgetful? How does her age have anything to do with the lack of quality in the food?? Very overcookedburgers that were 1/4 the size if the bun...not worth the trip here! In response to the owner, We were patient and nice to thewaitress. She was obviously new, overwhelmed or not trained. Maybe she could have used help from other staff. We also watchedtables sit for an extended amount if time not being cleared when customers left. So we were very patient with her. There werenot many customers in there when we ordered our food. We also asked ahead of time if they could take a group of 8. It should nothave taken over an hr to get a nacho plate. Very frustrating when people came in after us and got their food. Most the food wasgood, but that burger I ordered was not adequate Size and overcooked. Maybe some of this could have been resolved if we had beenchecked on when we got food. We stand by our review, in all farenes. Thanks again! Read more

I'm not one to write bad reviews but I felt this one was needed. My husband and I stopped in to the Blue Marble for what we... thought would we a nice impromptu date night. We were seated up by the bar which we were fine with as we understand Fridaynights can be busy. We ordered a pizza for dinner as well as an appetizer. The appetizer came out within 20 minutes and wastasty, however, we waited over an hour and a half before we finally got our pizza. Come to find out, our pizza was sent to thewrong table. Rather than apologizing or trying to "make it right" we were given a half cooked pizza and charged full price foreverything! What was even worse is that the restaurant owner was behind the bar the entire time and knew what had happened, andshe did nothing to acknowledge or apologize for the lack of service. Rather, she was mixing up cocktails for herself and herstaff to drink. We ended up taking the pizza to go because we would have felt bad just paying for the appetizer and leaving. Iwish we would have though because once we got home, we realized there was raw pizza dough in parts of the pizza and we recieveda 12 inch pizza while we paid for a 16 inch. Needless to say between the poor service, the careless attitude of the owner, andthe undercooked pizza, we will not be back. Read more

We tried this pub for lunch because one of our cars passed it on the way to the Irvine Park & Zoo. What a treat this... happenstance turned out to be! It?s not a big place, I Jess maybe tables for MAYBE 30 diners. Music playing and hard surfacesso conversation wasn?t all that easy. Wait staff were very pleasant and attentive without being pushy. But the FOOD! A decentmenu for a small dine in & carry out pub.salads, sandwiches & grinders, and oven fired pizzas. Sandwiches and wraps were hugeand tasty. My pizza was special. Lovely thin crust with cornmeal on the bottom and left to bake long enough to color nicely ?and we all know that color is flavor. Toppings were generous. And lovely thick slices of portabella mushroom. Yum-oh! Did notsee desserts. And lollipops for our toddler! Try it ? you?ll like it Read more

Highly recommend this place, give it a try and you'll be going back for more!! Great location! The decor and theme was sweet.... The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. The food was seriously some of the best that I've ever had! They makemeatballs and marinara from scratch, the sweet potato chips are to die for. Their grinders are absolutely amazing, so delicious. They have great appetizers, like wood fire grilled stuffed Portobello mushroom caps with marinara sauce or loaded sweet potatoeswith chicken and chipotle sauce. Their menu has a great variety of items, liked wood fire grilled pizzas, grinders, wraps andsalads, burgers, and more. Reasonable and fair prices. You should definitely give them a try! Read more

The waitress was fantastic. She had an attitude, but in a funny way. The pizza was wood fired, but just ok. I have never had... fried sweet pickles before, but the contrast with the siracha ranch was interesting. Read more
