Celebrated 3 birthdays here Friday night. Fish was subpar for the price that was posted. Waitress had a personality of a rock. I... love fish, but do not understand how cod can taste this fishy. The clam chowder soup was scorched and it was finally taken offand replaced with a puree of roasted cauliflower and potatoes something. I mentioned that evening to my brother in law that wehad a better meal at a bait shop near Miller Dam lake. No options for any burgers, or chicken sandwiches, wraps or the like. I'm so excited that High Shores is open again, but I don't think they performed well last night. Staff is very friendly and... personal service at bar and table was good. It was very busy, which was nice to see. But we were seated 20 minutes after ourreservation time. More than 1/4 of the salad bar items were empty or almost empty. It took 40+ minutes to get our food andoverall was just not as good as it should be for that price. Hopefully they're just still working out the kinks. Read more
The service was really good, but the food was not. Two prime rib orders were overcooked and tough. The ribeye was a little... tough, but had good flavor. They offered to take one of the prime rib orders off the bill, but forgot to do so. If we ever goback, it won't be for the steak or prime rib. Read more
New ownership is doing a great job. Service was excellent. Fresh veggies in the salad bar! The soup that night was chicken and... wild rice. Full disclosure after our meal I had a second bowl as dessert. My pork and dumplings, perfect, wife had a filet, mytaste was very , very good. We have already planned our second visit. Prices were typical for a good Wisconsin Supper Club. Read more
