Great service (Mary), however, kitchen has dictated this review. When an entree comes out 5-10 minutes after ordering... (lasagna), just had a feeling this may be a problem. It was warm at best and final responsibility falls on server. Shame onkitchen for making the server look bad! Previous review 3 years ago was 4 of 5 stars. No excuses for digressing, check yourequipment or use microwave! Read more

My friend wanted to go to the one on Imperial Beach, this one was closer. She likes the other one better; the food tastes... better... her words. Read more

One of the best pizzas I've ever had. If you like thick pizza that have a lot of cheese but don't look greasy at all, this is... your place. Also their seafood pasta was excellent. Their servers are super friendly and their free parking lot is huge! Read more

Let me start by saying the food was reasonably priced. My partner and I went here with high hopes based on the previous reviews.... However, the service was not good at all. The server had short timers disease because very little attention was paid. Once wefinished eating what we were going to eat of the food, we waited for quite some time for our server to come to our table sinceit was obvious we weren't eating anymore. He never came, I had to call to him and even then he didn't come right away. Atleast a half a dozen times another young man came vigorously sweeping by or table while we were trying to eat. While I appreciate the cleanliness, it's not necessary that many times when no one else had been seated. We ordered the lasagna raviolicombo. The lasagna was okay, the ravioli was supposed to be meat but it didn't taste like any meat I've ever tasted. We alsotried a meatball, that was good. I will not be returning to this particular location ever again. Even though it's the closest,I will try out the IB location and hope for better service. We arrived just before 8 pm and they closed at 9 pm. We were gonebefore 9 pm. If you go here, maybe try a different time of day. Read more

Dined-in at Filippi's on a Sunday evening, was expecting a long wait time but was surprised with a lack of one. Pizza was great... as always. Same goes for the lasagna, spaghetti and salads that we ordered. Cleanliness of the restaurant was also excellent. One little drawback was that the A/C was at full blast and was cold. But a neighboring table raised the concerned and issue wasaddressed. Great experience at Filippi's and will definitely return. Read more

My boyfriend and I come here every time we are in San Diego. He got the mostaccholi and meat sauce. I got the combo with lasagna... and meat ravioli with meat sauce and a meatball on the side. Very good! They also give you bread and butter. Sat outside andenjoyed the weather and people watched. Tina was our waitress and she was very attentive and sweet. Has a cute, tiny mercatoinside when you first walk in with different imported foods. Can’t wait to come back! Read more
