I enjoy these very pricey sandwiches but everytime I order delivery they never seal the bags, even when requested. I don't... understand why it's difficult to do so. My fries are on top for the drivers to easily access and for sanitation reason, justtape or staple it shut. How hard is that? ???????? Also, this isn't the first time and very frustrating. I like this place and the food is usually good but the last two times I've went the drink machine has been down and the... bathrooms out of order. The service isn't awful and it kinda feels like they are doing the best they can with management/ownerthat just doesn't seem to care. So soon..the staff isn't going to care either. I take my daughter here cause she loves thetruffle fries (which are good!) But I have to pack like it's a picnic. Bring her own silverware, drinks, napkins, and be readyto find a public restroom. Although this place is actually one of my favorite grilled cheese spots, the one minor thing I will complain about is the... portion size of the fries. I hate to be the one to complain about stuff like this but when you?re paying $2.99 for basically ataster? To me, that?s not worth it. Am I crazy or is this portion size worth $2.99? Read more
I ordered the Loaded Lobster Fries off the menu among other dishes for my family. We got our order and thought it was dry... because there was no aioli on it. The menu description says it comes with a chipotle aioli and when I inquired about it I wasvery rudely told I didn't ask for it and refused to hear my explication about it and felt really stupid. My daughter got thetomato basil soup and basic grilled cheese, both were ok, soup was nothing special, and sandwich was grilled on one side. My songot the Buffalo Mac n cheese and liked it, but eats MRE's regularly in the Army and his favorite one is chili mac, so not surehow to gauge that. The service was definitely abysmal and was a negative experience while visiting San Diego. I wish we wouldhave picked a different place to eat. Read more
