No wait on a Monday, quick service. Went with the steak, onion & horseradish sammy on rye- super great. Everyone enjoyed fresh... food. Barstool, restaurant and bar section seating. Breaded mushrooms were great as well but didn?t feel as fresh as everythingelse. Definitely a good choice when your driving through. I?m local and this is the type of place you drive by a hundred timesand never stop by. I am glad we did finally stop by. Best french fries around! I love French fries but am very picky. Brevins uses fresh potatoes (not frozen), coats them with... slightly seasoned flour and fries them to perfection. The fresh potatoes part is unusual and reminds me of my childhood wheneven McDonald's used fresh potatoes. It makes a difference. The service was terrific and the setting homey. Read more
This is the first time I had eaten at Brevin's and it had been several years since my wife ha eaten there. Time to wait for a... table for two was less than 5 minutes. This was good because there was really no defined waiting area. The restaurant is wheelchair accessable, however room between tables seemed tight. Our wait staff was friendly and prompt. Her service was excellentand she stopped by our table to check on us often, which was a welcome surprise in this day and age. The restaurant seemed verybusy and quite loud with all the patrons. If you have a hearing aid or have trouble hearing this may be a problem for you. Evenbeing busy our appetizer and then meal was brought out from the kitchen pretty quickly. We got an appetizer of ultimate nachos,two diet sodas, Cajun Prime Rib and Chicken Tenders. All the food was excellent with large portions the justify the higher pricethan neighboring restaurants. While the food and service was excellent my wife and I probably won't go here again. The noiselevel was just a bit much for us and the large amount of food with the higher prices are wasted on us. If you don't mind noisyenvironments, like larger portions with great service this restaurant is for you. Read more

Brevin?s is an honest, no-nonsense, good local restaurant with a tasty midwestern menu and good friendly service. Usually busy,... they still get you in and seated quickly and without a rush. Food is good. Service is very good. Prices are good. If you arehungry while in the area, you should definitely visit Brevin?s. Read more
Wow! What a great hidden gem. I heard of this place from a friend and my mom and I decided to try it today. From the outside... this place doesn't look like anything special. Parking is a bit of a challenge but there are some nearby stores that offeradditional parking. Upon entering the restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised to find a delightful beautiful decorated diningroom. The neutral colors and etched glass make this eatery an welcoming place. It took a couple of minutes for a hostess to seeus, but she was very friendly and took us to a nice table and took our drink orders. Our waitress followed promptly after tocheck on us and provided us with some extra time to review the menu. All of the menu items seemed to be great choices. We placedour order and shortly after our appetizer was brought out. We ordered cheese curds. The portion was HUGE. It could have easilybeen an appetizer for 6-8 people. The curds were the proper temperature and tasted buttery and delicious. The ranch provided wasa little runny, but had good flavor. A few minutes later my salad arrived. I know that salad is pretty standard wherever you go(for the most part) but I was satisfied that it was fresh and crisp as you'd want a salad to be. Our entrees arrived and oureyes nearly popped out of our heads. Once again the portions were huge. I ordered the fish, ribs and potato wedges. The fish wasgreat; however I would have preferred just a little less breading. The tartar sauce provided was sweet and delicious. I wouldhave preferred a bit more relish in the tartar, but the flavor was still great. The bbq ribs were outstanding. The menu listedthe portion to be 1/3 a rack. There were at least 6 bones, which I've seen served as half a rack at other places. The flavor wasperfect. Just the right amount of sticky bbq to still taste the great meat flavor. Place was clean & the 2 server's were very nice. They were split trying to serve the whole place... The mushroom casserole was... different & pretty good. My fish was good. The breading lacked any real flavor & the tarter sauce was very sweet & that odd offyellow color. Tator totts were a nice option & came out crispy like I ordered.
