The food was amazing... You have got to try the tomato soup... My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The restaurant ... itself is very sophisticated with an uptown feeling. The food is "elevated Americana," and seriously, everything we had was sogood! We sat in the bar area and were doted on by the two bartenders who were so sweet and really took care of us! Great place to eat with a great atmosphere. We had the crab and the shrimp appetizers which were full of flavor and delicious.... The couple with were with had a red cab wine called Kokomo which they thought were great. I had the all you can eat catfish (notfrom Morse res) which was very light and good. The cream corn was good. They had a tomato horseradish soup. To top it all off wehad a piece of birthday cake which was great. We sat in the basement which is very cool with a bar and a lounge area. Read more

Wish we could say more. Ordered their filet ?special?. Was very specific in telling our server to let the kitchen know that I... really mean it when I ask for my steak rare, and my husband understands medium rare. We?ve both been in the business for years,which is why we are always very clear and patient when we order. Mine came out warm red, his came out pink. Sent both back, minewas fine the second time around, his was quite rubbery, bad cut, to the point he only ate about half of it. No adjustment on thebill for having to send two over-temped steaks back, and although the bartender checked to see if the second round was better noapology, no management. Try somewhere else.
