We came in for dinner around 5:30 on Saturday night before venturing out to Blink. The one server acted annoyed when we came in.... She sat the people in front of us and then came back to us and said all I have is the rest of the table I just sat them at. Wesaid that was fine. We sat for at least 15 minutes before anyone ever approached our table. The lady that sat us then said to amale waiter just take them and pointed to us. He came over and rudely said “has anyone talked to you yet?” When we saidno, he said do want any apps? We said we can go ahead and order (I mean we’ve been looking at the menu for 15 minutes now) and he remarked that’s fine but it will back the kitchen up? While ordering, when asking questions, he would answer verydryly and rudely. For instance my son asked for a plain hamburger and he said what’s plain to you. When my son responded justthe burger and bun, he said just meat and bread, very sarcastically. Our food came out separately. We didn’t get refillsuntil right before we left, and the lady server acted irritated again that we even asked. The food was good, but the service wasabhorrent. Those two certainly need to find another career path. As we were leaving, the table next to us, who had been sittingfor ten minutes or more, said excuse me to the lady server, and she just buzzed past the table without even acknowledging them.Maybe they were short staffed-but that doesn’t excuse rudeness. Really good! Like honestly Americano is usually just the place I thought everyone went when Maplewood was too crowded, but I got... their Nashville hot chicken sandwich and Cajun fries and loved them! Just the right amount of spice, really well made chicken,and even though it was pretty busy our waitress got us served in a very reasonable time frame. Read more
Great food and great service. Server was beautiful and so kind and attentive, didn’t catch her name but super tall lol. She... was one of the only one but still kept her composure and kind demeanor. They are highly understaffed but handled it well. Read more
Love the flag made of beer cans on the ceiling. The only way to top it was the food and it was amazing! If ever I'm back in... Cincinnati, this will be a stop I make for food. Read more
It was Wed so it was half price wine and wings. Everything was great I especially loved the lemon brussel sprouts
The worst customer service I have ever had. Waited over an hour to get a check. Never asked how the food was. Rolled her eyes... when asked if we could have a beverage with out food. Proceeded to slam the drinks down over twenty minutes later. She yelled atthe cooks behind the counter loudly over a burger. Wouldn’t recommend. Over priced I never leave reviews. I never complain.I’ve worked kitchens. But this was a truly awful experience. Read more
Popped in for a quick drink - got the Americano Old Fashioned. Wow! We loved that we got to check out the place on it's down... time and were able to chat with the staff. Super friendly and fun. Comfortable, and vibrant. Read more
Went to this place because of the good reviews. Atmosphere was nice, and the short staff was pleasant. The 2 front of house... were pleasant, but the back of house seemed to be extremely overwhelmed, and not really know how to run tickets appropriately. We placed an order to go, and waited 50 minutes only to find out that my sandwich had been sitting up on the top of theexpedition window, along the wall, not under a heat lamp, for approximately 10-15 minutes. It was chicken. The female in thefront of the house, how claimed to be a manager, seemed to have no problem with the fact the chicken was not under a heat lamp,and off to the side waiting on a burger and onion rings. I unfortunately do not know how the food tasted, because I asked for arefund, as I was not going to take a chance with the chicken. Rather disappointing. When requesting her name, I was then askedto leave. I then asked again, and expressed I would be calling to speak with the manager, because there were many peoplewaiting ridiculous amounts of time for food unnecessarily. 45 minutes for 2 grilled cheese, 2 bowls of soup, a salad and aquesadilla. She indicated she was the manager, and provided a name I am sure was not her own. I was told I was making a bigdeal out of nothing. It wasn't nothing if you were potentially giving me food that would make me sick. We then get back to ourevent, only to find out the poor quality food, was actually the hamburger, and the chicken that was given was not fully cooked. Truly a disappointing experience for someone coming from out of town. I hope this can be a learning experience, and you doactually learn something, rather than sweeping it under the rug, and just moving on, and putting it off on shortages. I knowmany managers, if they are true managers, would have jumped to the back of the house, and dug in to see what they could do tohelp. Again, I hope you can learn from this. Read more
