If you haven’t tried Cafe Mediterranean Hyde Park, you’re missing on some amazing food and great service.Our biggest critic... (our 7 year old girl) loved the food too.We went there for our 15 years anniversary and I wanted to try more the one kinda grillmeat.The chef put together a very tasty family size girl mix which was not on the menu. Thank you chef!! Was delicious????Appetizers didn’t disappoint either. I highly recommend this place. I can’t wait to go back soon. I plan to tell all my friends looking for a nice dining experience. The owner and staff are attentive and very respectful of... personal space. We were early for our reservation and it was no problem. We had the salmon and it was very good, not to salty. Tdeserts are good and the Turkish Tea is a must. Go for carry out and be sure reserve a table if you want to dine in to secureseating without a wait. Four of us had a delightful time from start to finish at Cafe Mediterranean. It's a lovely place with a friendly and... knowledgeable staff. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The swordfish kabobs were recommended and rightly so. The fish was moist and flavorful. Chicken thighs were also excellent. We shared three desserts all of which were wonderful. BE CAREFUL ????? I had lunch with my father two weeks ago, the food was good but overpriced the Turkish coffee was a shock,... literally they will bring you the smallest cup of coffee of earth that equals only one sip for $4.12! The cup seems bigger inthe pictures than reality. I overlooked that. However, they are not transparent with their prices, I didn’t give a tipbecause they I was charged for the service. When I asked the guy called Ali he said we normally don’t do that !! How come? Iguess it depends on the customer and for this lack of transparency and manipulation I will never come back. Read more
What a nice surprise! Modern middle eastern decor with old fashioned attentive service. Food was excellent. Zucchini pancake... was excellent, so was tabouli. Flan was very good combined with Turkish coffee. Mmm. Will return soon. Read more
I really enjoyed my meal! I ordered the Iskendor kabob and it was fantastic! UPDATE: I was back here again. Was my first... experience validated? Yes! Another great meal!! The owner was super friendly and the Tabouli was so good that I didn't have timeto take a picture. It was moist and tasted so fresh! My meal (Doner Gyros Kebab) was fantastic and the baklava was not dry anddripped with sauce(just like I enjoy it). Read more
