This was my first time at Chao Phraya Thai Cuisine in West Chester. The place was very easy to find . I was impressed with how... clean and cute the place was. My friend and I had Crab Rangoon for an appetizer, Thai Boat Noodle soup and Massaman Salmon forlunch and Original Thai coffee with our meal. Everything was so DELICIOUS!! I have not had Thai Boat Noodle Soup like foreverand it tasted like what I had in Thailand. The service was amazing too!! I will definitely go back there again. 5 stars isnot enough. They deserve more than that for both the food, service and the atmosphere. Read more

We ordered a soup and three entrees and loved everything. Quantities are just right. Not too much, not too little. And the... flavors are amazing. Highly recommended. The service is also great. Read more

First-time eating at this restaurant. I usually never give online reviews, but I thought I would give my honest two cents. I was... introduced to this restaurant by this website called Local Flavor, which gives a certificate for dine-ins. I was very excitedsince I saw so many google reviews. I was blind-sided when I saw that the restaurant had a policy for Local Flavor Certificateusers. The $30 Coupon Value was equated to only $27.90 worth, and was not usable for House Specials or Seafood (see picture). Ifelt a bit cheated about this. You had to let the restaurant know before you order your food that you are using the certificate(also see picture). I felt that they might be stingy with portions knowing that you are using the certificate..? In thebeginning, I ordered the crab rangoons as appetizers. I understand that they deep-fry them from the freezer/ refigerator, butthe cream cheese in the middle was still cold when I bit into them.(their 6 crab ragoons was about ~$6.95 or so) My son orderedthe Pad See Ew, which I have to give them credit for, is good. I had their curry. Compared to other Thai restuarants around thearea, ex. Asiasna and Lemongrass, it was mediocre, and I think could be better (See picture). I paid extra $2 for shrimp, whichI also thought could be more flavorful, and the vegetable (a bit undercooked). I came at 6:30 PM on a weekday; There were no onethere except for us and another couple. Like the other google commentors said, I would not recommend coming here if you arethinking of using a Local Flavor certificate. The process of paying for the meals was confusing. I think the owner was upsetthat we were using the certificate after she showed the check with the full meal prices ($40 after tax). She told me she wouldonly take $27.90 and took my credit card and my phone, which had the QR code certificate. We waited, and she did not give itback until I came to the front counter to collect both my phone, the paid check, and my credit car Read more

We were in the area and did a Google maps search for something local and found Chao Phraya - and what a pleasant surprise! We... love trying new Thai places anyway, so we went for it. We were the first customers for dinner tonight it seemed, were greetedand seated promptly, and immediately were greeted again by our friendly waitress. We ordered crab Rangoon and chicken satay forappetizers, both of which came out quickly and were delicious! Loved their peanut sauce for the chicken! While we were enjoyingthem, our waitress surprised us each with a bowl of chicken and rice soup, on the house! Also delish! When we got ourappetizers, we when ahead and ordered our entrees - sweet and sour chicken stir fry (which my wife made some substitutions onsome of the veggies that they gladly accommodated) with white rice, and chicken pad Thai, medium spice level for myself. Again, the food came out quickly, was presented gorgeously, and was plenty hot. The stir fry in particular looked as good as it tasted!Everything was cooked perfectly, and our waitress made sure our water glasses were always filled and everything was to oursatisfaction. With tip, we spent about $50 for the 2 of us, which is on par with other Thai restaurants in the area that wefrequent. We've passed by this location multiple times over the years and never noticed this place. It's in an older strip mallwhere there says a few other restaurants. So we're glad we googled and found it! The dining room was clean and bright and tablesnicely prepared. Great place for either a date night or to bring the family. We both agreed that this is one of our newfavorites for Thai in the West Chester area... Probably in the top 2. The food was wonderful and reasonably priced, and youcan't beat the service. We will definitely be visiting more often! Read more

I really enjoyed eating here. This was by far the nicest looking thai restaurant that I have visited. I got the panang curry,... and though the recipe was different than what I am used to (mainly in the veggies used) I found it to be quite delicious. Theonly weird thing about the experience is that my wife and I were the only ones there at 7 on a Friday night. I will definitelyeat here again and I think everyone else should as well. Read more

I've had a lot of Pad Se Ewe and Pad Thai from a few different restaurants, but ChaoPhraya has got to be my favorite. The... noodles were so fresh and the protein was cooked just right. Also got the calamari for the appetizer and the amount of crisp inthe breading to the tenderness of the squid were a perfect ratio. For dessert we got the sticky rice with mango. The sweetnessof the rice with the slight tanginess of the mango complimented each other perfectly. Definitely recommend this place. Read more

The food is just perfect and delicious. The staff is so nice and courteous, takes care of specific requirements if any related... to spice level, veggies etc. All the curries are awesome and so are the noodle and rice varieties. I would definitely recommendtheir starter rice miso soup???? A must go place for sure! It’s a BYOB place ???? Read more
