Reserved a table to celebrate a family birthday. It was very enjoyable and food was good, just wish we had better seating. We... requested a booth and got a table by the kitchen and the main walkway. Surprisingly good food. Okay wine. Been here a few times now. I live in the area and come here every once in awhile usually... with family and with a slightly larger party so I understand that changes things a bit. Service is always very good and thefood (particularly the appetizers) is great! it's surprising to me that my least favorite part of the experience every time isthe wine. it's not really bad wine, but its not really better than a cheap grocery store bottle of wine. They do have this coollooking aerator that they bring to the table, but I don't believe that it does much to improve the wine. We came for dinner on Wednesday night. Luckily we made a reservation (recommend) - this location was very busy, even on... Wednesday. We got our table very quick. Our server, Chris, was very friendly, and nice. We had the daily special red wine, andit was very tasty. We ordered filet mignon and red wine short ribs. Both meals were very delicious. As always, Coopers Hawk does not disappoint! We went for my birthday dinner and were treated like family. The tasting at the... wine bar was outstanding with excellent service. Our server at the table (Natalie) was top notch and made sure we had awonderful night! We even had a visit from the manager to ensure everything was running smoothly (you are awesome Mark!) Enjoyed my visit. Not a big wine person but did enjoy some nice moscato, and could tell they have several great options and if... you are into wines and good food this is a great place to go. My families 1st visit, service was great, hostess desk not so friendly. The food IMO was average, nothing special. The... atmosphere is nice. It was alittle cool in the restaurant. Not impressed with the red wines... when all red wines are at same %of alcohol there is something UNNATURAL ABOUT IT But the... viognier is pretty good, i strongly recommend it. The old vine zin is very low in % and weak... i expect primitivo wines (akazinfandel) to be robust with intense red and very aromatic.
