Absolutely awful. We were seated and given menus. The tortilla chips were stale. They let us order drinks and dinner only to... be told after the fact that the items we ordered were unavailable. We were ask to order something else off the menu. Waited 20more minutes only to be told kitchen was backed up due to parties. Paid for our wine and salads. $60.00 dollars later we had noentree. We went for a double family birthday. 7 of us. Made reservations. I have been going to this restaurant for many years. The food... and service were greatly disappointing. Nothing was what was once their norm. Maybe try something different.?? Read more

Expensive side to be sure... but they have the best Mexican cuisine in Cincy, hands- down. Try the Chimichangas and Margaretas... are truly authentic. [Great service and cozy atmosphere - outdoor seating area is seasonally open, live music sometimes, (ESPNon interior TVs and @ bar,) w/ Beer Garten type vibe.] Read more

Our group of 20 were well served tonight. The staff was prompt, polite and efficient. The short ribs were so tender, perfectly... cooked, fell off the bone. Definitely highly reccomend! Read more

Went last night, (7/15/22) with party of 6. Generally speaking, 5 guests enjoyed their food. Me, well.....I ordered the bone... in rib-eye medium, with well done crisp French fries. The steak was a TRUE rare, and the fries were cold and soft. The frieshad clearly come out of a holding pan, and as for the steak, I could/should have sent it back, but I am not one to sit and watchothers eat. It's sad as I paid for our whole group, and I got food I'd expect from one of the old Bonanza steak houses. Read more

We used to love El Coyote, not sure what has happened. We had a party of 4 and one of our guests ordered the Tomahawk steak... ($136.00). The server came back 20 minutes later and said that all of the other food was ready, but not the steak (and she saidshe had never served one for the 2 years she worked there). I asked her if the steak was frozen and had to be thawed and shesaid no. An hour later, we had been finished with dinner for quite a bit and the steak finally arrived, wrapped in foil "togo." My friend had no dinner. When he got home, he unwrapped it and well, the picture speaks for itself (raw and full ofgristle). Since we invited this couple to El Coyote, my husband felt responsible and called the manager the next day (Mondaymorning). It is now Tuesday night, and no call back so thus the negative review - we always want to give a business a chancebefore writing a review. Very disappointing to say the least! Read more

My boyfriend and I went here on date night which happened to be the first big snowstorm it was very cozy being able to watch the... snowfall out the windows and sitting by the fire. The decor is adorable I loved it. The food was very good and their margaritaswere some of the best. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating, she was an older lady with short hair and glasses she hadbeen working there for a very long time 20 years I believe I over heard. She was a doll and really made our night out great. Itwas a little pricey but we used a gift card but definitely will only go back on special occasions. Read more
