Was going to eat in but the decor and darkness wasn't very inviting. Wanted to go ahead and try catfish and jerk. Catfish was... fresh and very good. Jerk shrimp and cabbage was very good. Too much jerk sauce with chicken. Green beans was not seasoned.Overall food good, want to go back to try other items. Unique. Authentic. Excellent menu. Looks like most take out but we dined in. Loved the jerk chicken, jerk shrimp and curry goat.... Greens surprised me by being cold but were excellent. Liked the fried okra, cole slaw and plantains. Will be back to try theoxtail. Probably serve Pepsi products. Read more
I have never tried Caribbean food in my life... and this restaurant was the best place I could go to lose my Caribbean food... virginity. I ordered jerk chicken with a side of mac & cheese and wedges. The mac & cheese tasted like it was made with love andthe jerk chicken was extremely flavorful. Great jerk chicken. Great jerk salmon. The cornbread was like eating a dessert with your meal, not after. The portions made it... worth the money. If you like jerk style meals, try Gee's! Read more
We like the food. The weekend rib tips are real good, not too spicy. The plantains and cabbage are on point. I?m not as big on... the cornbread myself as it tasted more like spice cake, but others liked it. They also have good beef patties here which make aperfect snack. Read more
Incredible food! I got the oxtail and dumplings with mac & cheese and plantains as my sides. The meat was tender and flavorful,... and the mac and cheese had those great crisp edges. Plantains were a little oily, but had a great balance of savory and sweet.I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu! Read more
