Staff was friendly and slightly comical. They were training a new person and that is always entertaining. The food was ready and... brought to our table quickly. The coleslaw was good and the mashed potatoes reminded us of school lunch. The chicken was bland.It smelled really good and wasn?t dry. It just lacked any seasoning. They should offer something at the table besides salt andpepper. I actually appreciate them not over seasoning the food like most places, but something would have been nice. ?World?sbest fried chicken? is a stretch. Maybe the best fried chicken on that road. I absolutely love this place. My wife goes for the pineapple upside down cake thats only available Thursdays and Fridays. It... sells out quick. I was in Kellogg for work and we needed to grab a quick lunch. We stumbled across this local gem since it was the closest... restaurant. This is exactly what you think of when people say ?hole in the wall or dive.? It?s super cute and cozy, withhomemade southern favorites and friendly welcoming staff. Since we were in a rush, I ordered the special. It was country friedchicken with two sides and a roll. My coworker order chicken tenders and mashed potatoes. Our food was packed and ready fortakeout in less than 10 minutes. Both of the meals had large servings and around $10. The country fried steak was two chickentenders covered in gravy. The chicken was not processed or pressed. They were cut up chicken breasts. It was chicken like youwould have if you made it at home. The chicken was crispy, but we both agreed it could have used more seasoning. The green beanswere delicious and well seasoned. My only complaint was that my entire meal was in one to-go tray without dividers. The greenbean juice was not contained. Luckily, we were only a few minutes away so I just tried to separate them. Next time, I will try aburger and onion rings. They looked amazing. They have a large variety of sides and delectable looking desserts.
