Usually my go to place for Chinese since I work in Blue Ash, but lately I am just curious what they use for "chicken" in the... Honey Chicken.. Most of it's hard and sinewy, hardly any meat like I am eating the tendons and god know what.. The egg rollsare ok, but most of the chicken were too hard to chew, too chewy and rarely did I eat anything tender - what a majordisappointment and probably wont' be back as I dumped $ 7.95 worth of a lunch special in the trash - no wonder there aren't anystray dogs around Plainfield and Galbraith Rd. Tonight, I ordered Fried Dumplings. When they were delivered, I opened the container and they were burnt (please see the... attached). I called the restaurant and the owner?s son (who takes most of the orders and works at the front counter) answered. Iexplained the dumplings were fried and burnt. I explained they even smelled burnt. He said he would call his father (whodelivered the food) to instruct him to come back to my residence and pick up the food; and they would issue me a refund. Iexplained to him I wanted dumplings; so, I asked him to re-make the dumplings and when the corrected dumplings were delivered, Iwould give them the burnt dumplings. He said, ?No, that option isn?t available at this time.? I asked why isn?t the optionwasn?t available. He stated they would just come to pick up the burnt dumplings and issue a refund. I further explained thatmoney (a refund) isn?t the issue. I didn?t want a refund. I wanted the dumplings I ordered to be corrected and re-delivered. Hetold me that I would be charged a second delivery fee. I asked him, ?Why would I be charged a second delivery fee when therestaurant made the mistake?? He pivoted; and stated that re-delivery isn?t an available option. When I questioned why not, hestated, ?Because we don?t want to.? I told him, ?You just lost a customer!? This family-owned restaurant has poor customerservice. This incident isn?t my first time experiencing sub-par customer service; but, I wanted to give them the ?benefit of thedoubt.? The restaurant made the mistake; but, wouldn?t be inconvenienced to ensure the customer was satisfied. Patronize thisplace at your own risk! If they mess up your order, they won?t go out of their way to make it right. I will NEVER bring my moneyback to this poor excuse of a business! Read more
TLDR:Save your time and money. I ordered for delivery, took about 45 from the time I called to the time it was delivered. The... breading sweet and sour chicken was very funnel cake tasting. It was extremely thick and definitely over cooked or cooked inolder oil. The breading was too sweet but I actually thought the sauce was delicious. The chicken for our other meal was veryfatty. Every bite was slimy/fatty and took a while to chew but the actual sauce was delicious and the veggies were cooked good.The rice was a big let down. Our go-to. Many time returning customer over the last 3 years. Quick, delicious, hot American Chinese food with a very well... organized and responsive staff. Have never had a wrong order. Worth it every time. The food containers are very awesome toreuse for things like Lego or craft material storage! My favorite is the bourbon chicken and fried rice. Highly recommend! Read more
Spring break, I was in town with family for a week. Being from chicago, I love Chinese food! After reading the reviews Imperial... Wok was my target location, with a 4.2 out of a 5.0, I felt like the odds was good enough. I walked in and ordered a shrimp andbroccoli lunch special with wonton soup for 6.25! The dish was Great!! Plenty of shrimp, nicely streamed broccoli and friedrice. Its definitely worth a try for chinese lovers. Read more
