Food is always very, very, good. My wife can eat there, and get something she actually wants, despite her gluten allergy, and... not suffer for days afterward. Other places claim to prepare gluten-free food but then proceed to cross-contaminate the hell outof her order and she is literally miserable for days because they either lack the knowledge to produce a legit gluten-freeproduct or maybe they just don't care. Regardless, my wife is the one that ends of suffering for their lack of diligence. If youare gluten-intolerant JGumbo's can make you a tasty meal that won't have you living in a bathroom for days on end. ???????? Read more
Holy Moses. So wonderful. I had the Voodoo Nachos and the Jean Lafitte Burrito Bowl, and both were so full of flavor. Not gonna... lie, the Alka Seltzer will be coming out tonight, but the wonderful flavors and quality of the delicious food is absolutelyworth it! Read more
Actually has really good food! The bread was pretty buttery though, I'm not sure if i would choose to go there again over... something like a picnic, or just a peanut butter sandwich. The workers gave me the WiFi password which was super nice of them. Read more
Amazing food, amazing staff, and dessert to die for. Come here about once a week after work and am never disappointed. The... cobbler changes every now and again, but every time they're so good. The brownie is also delicious. The spice level changesdepending on the day but it's never going from 0 to 100. More like 0 to 5. Read more

First time going there and she gave me a sample of one of the gumbos. The lady who placed our order was helpful. Definitely will... be back. Ask for cornbread with the gumbo instead of the french bread (I promise it?s worth it). Read more

Tonight around 10:30 on my lunch break the lady cashier did an unusual act of kindness towards me for an unexpected situation on... my part.I don't often find restaurants with such excellent customer service like I experienced tonight, so I was compelled tonot only give J. Gumbos a shout out but to extend an extra amount praise to the awesome young woman who helped me out when sheclearly didn't have too.What she did was the true example of what we need more of in this country good ol fashion care for oneanother.I never got her name but if you read this I want to thank you again for what you did,Thank you much I really appreciateit.
