We met a friend of ours in town from Florida and her cousins for drinks and dinner. Our server, Julie H., was outstanding... being very patient with a table that was more interested in talking than ordering. When we did finally order the food wasgood. I had the garlic pesto shrimp pasta, which was heavy on the garlic, but luckily I'm a fan of garlic. My wife hadthe Meritage salad and our friend had the French onion soup and half wedge. A few bottles of wine and the evening was asuccess. The service was great, the food was good and not being rushed to free up a table was fantastic. Date night brought us back to our neighborhood restaurant. The kingklip which was daily fish with crab butter was perfectly... flaky and delicious. We both decided on the cheesecake and it was delightful, light cheesecake and since we were full had tobring some home. Also enjoyed the live music. Read more
Amazing atmosphere, great service. Wine was good. Food tasted spectacular. I have a celiac allergy, and the waitress made sure... the kitchen knew, for no cross contamination. The waitress Julie was very nice and very helpful. The Experience we had wasamazing with her. Read more
I had the fish sandwich and it was AWESOME! One problem though. When I got home I noticed I was charged for the dinner. Craft... beer choices were great as well. Went back a second time, but closed out our bill after the app and a couple beers. We sat atthe bar on the first floor and the bartender was spread thin and there was a lot of waiting. I cannot blame the bartender. TheBruschetta appetizer was great! For the draft beer selection, I recommend only one craft lager beer, not two, just to have alittle more variety. Read more
Absolutely amazing. Kalamari on point, both the sauces gave a great range of spice and flavor. Consistency was just amazing. BLT... was literally the best I've ever had (don't tell my mom). Brusselsprouts were just fantastic. Also it was reasonably priced too.I will be back and I will tell my friends and family about this place. 11/10 will recommend to literally anyone. Had an excellent dinner at Meritage, with great live music, warm atmosphere, and terrific food. The beer and wine selection is... ample but not overwhelming, and very well done. $3 beers on Thursdays? You had me at $3. The pork chop was savory andsatisfying. Wonderful end to our short vacation. Stopped for dinner looking for an upscale restaurant with a patio. Not disappointed! We... shared an appetizer of calamari which was delicious. On our waiter’s recommendation we split the day’s special, ribeye! Melt in your mouth good. Quaint area with on and off street parking nearby. We’ve already told some of our neighbors about theMeritage. So if you’re in the Cincinnati area don’t miss it. Read more
We went to Meritage last Sunday for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious in a warm family... atmosphere, however our waitress was the best. Super friendly,knew the entire menu and the specials,and was ultra efficient andaccurate in all the plating courses right down to the check and takeout boxes. Dead on for everything.
