The server we had was great but the food wasn’t . Ordered the filet mignon medium and it tasted and looked like a well done... sirloin . When I asked if it was the sirloin she said “that’s not the sirloin but that does look different than the usualfilet “ and that was all. My friend got the angry max with no sausage . It came out with no sausage or shrimp . When theybrought the shrimp out it was dry and not flavorful and was expected to be mixed into the already dry macaroni. This was abirthday celebration dinner that turned into a flop . Read more

Was told by my friends that I needed to try a German place while I was in Cincinnati, and I found this place while strolling... along the river. Despite a Red's game going on next door, they were able to find a table for me immediately and the service wasexcellent. I looked at all the beers they brew on the menu and there were enough that looked good that I needed to get asampler. All 4 of the beers were excellent and I wanted to get full glasses of all of them. I also got the German sausageplatter which was very good. The Brussel sprouts were flavorful and the apple kraut had a nice kick to it. Both of the sausageswere full of flavor and paired nicely with the beers I got. Overall this is a fantastic lager house with a wonderful locationright by the river and the ballpark with great views, friendly staff, and a great selection of food and drink. I will definitelyneed to come back and try some more of what they have to offer next time I am in Cincinnati and bring some friends as well Read more

You can never go wrong with a beer flight and theirs is only $8 for 4 selections. The buffalo wings and fish were all cooked... perfectly. The shrimp with garlic and red pepper flakes, fire! We all enjoyed everything we got. Excellent customer service. Allstaff were friendly and accommodating of our requests. Read more

This used to be my favorite place in Cincinnati/NKY. They have changed the menu quite a bit over the past few years. The... atmosphere is very cool, and many tables have a great view of the Ohio River. The beer is excellent. It's brewed at ChristianMoerlein brewery in town, and they always have season options available. You can get a big 34 oz beer which is nice. The priceshave gone up recently, and over the last couple of years the level of service has gone way down. It has gone from a greatmid-priced restaurant to an okay expensive restaurant. Today I had the garlic three-cheese burger with garlic parm fries ($15)and a large traditional lager. Burger was just okay, especially for the price. Fries were nice and crispy but needed moreparmesan. Beer was excellent. My wife had the buffalo wings. Came with 10 wings. Again just okay for $15. Pretty disappointingexperience. Read more

This place is the type of place where wypipo listen to Yacht Rock while drinking a sub par IPA, and wearing salmon shorts after... a game of golf. It’s not my forte but the burgers are amazing as well as the Sriracha Caesar Salad! We prefer more of a dive-yatmosphere but this place is super clean, upscale with corporate mediocrity for decor - attractive to suburban visitors todowntown - it’s a “safe” space. Contrasting to the flavor of the burgers the atmosphere is kind of bland. We will comeback because it’s good food and the burger week burgers rocked. Tons of seating - great for larger parties; and the servicewas sufficient/good so you really can’t go wrong. Read more

Had a great first-time visit that happened to land during the Price Parade. The beer and food were both great. Service was... phenomenal! (Shout out to Morgan and team!) We definitely walked away happy - and with some souvenirs from the gift shop! Read more

I dined at MLH yesterday before the Journey concert, and it was about as great as ever. My three-cheese garlic burger (see pic)... was killer - perfectly juicy on a nice, chewy bun. My wife had her usual, the short rib grilled cheese. She did think it had abit less meat on it than in the past. Our apple bread pudding (see pic) was really good too. Finally, the beer was cold and ourserver was super nice. What more could you want from this riverfront, beer-inspired dining institution? Read more

It's like when you go to a place because of the good reviews and get blown away by one person and that person was a bartender... name Taylor. She was amazing! First the food and the atmosphere was awesome with a Reds ballgame going on it was packed but wewere seated in a half hour. Second I told Taylor how I was looking for a certain beer from Cincinnati she went in the cellar andug one out for me. Thank you for that Read more
