This is probably my favorite restaurant and I’m a local guide reviewing places. Ribs King was on point today as always. Get... the full slab of ribs. You’ll eat them all but even if you don’t they’ll save well. I have been going to Montgomery Innfor decades but when my picky eater child who doesn’t like anything says it’s now their favorite ever that’s anotherlevel. I usually take more pictures when I review a place and there’s plenty of memorabilia all throughout of notable peoplewho also say Montgomery Inn is Ribs King and I definitely will take more pictures next time I’m here but the ribs were onpoint and you convinced the picky one that this is so. They have a great heated outdoor patio that faces the river. Nice views and good food. We ordered the Cantonese shrimp and... brisket dinners. Delicious! Desserts were great, too. Homemade key lime pie and ice cream filled eclair with hot fudge sauce. Itwas a pleasant surprise of $5 valet parking. Read more
Oh my gosh! This place is Amazing! Beautiful setting, the server was fabulous and the food was delicious!!! The filet nearly... melted in my mouth! If you visit, make sure you get the black raspberry chocolate ice cream, it was so delicious and creamy,I’ll be talking about this experience for years! Will absolutely be back!! Read more
We were anticipating our Father's Day first visit and we were only slightly disappointed. First of all the ribs and the brisket... were 5+ stars. However the steak was overcooked and burnt on the top and underseasoned, and the baked potato was a little dryand possibly undercooked. The gulf shrimp appetizer was back to 5 stars, but the shortcake was a mess if tasty. The ice creamwas completely melted and the shortcake was hard (frozen maybe) although the flavor was all there and we ate every bite. So I'dsay it was a five star opportunity not quite executed. First off, the restaurant looks cool...it's nice. The view was amazing! The service was top notch. Our waiter, Steve, was great!... I got the wagyu burger, pulled pork nachos, brisket sandwich & pulled chicken sandwich for the table. It was all pretty spot on.The fries were decent. The Mac and cheese wasn't the best I'd ever had but also not too bad either. The meal was very good butit felt like it was.kissing something...Ive had an amazing meal at several restaurants and I hoped this would would knock mysocks off but it came up a little bit short. Excellent dinner with a view! This place is special. We loved everything we tried. You won't go wrong with anything barbecue... here. The burgers were also stellar. Service was quite friendly and helpful as well. Can't wait to come back! Read more
As always, the food was great. Service was excellent. Ron has been our server many times and again today. Always start with... the pulled pork nachos. So good. We tried the Carmel apple shortcake. It was just okay. Looked better than it tasted. Read more
Visited as part of my weekend in town with my son for the Bengals game. Food was spot on. Ribs and NY strip cooked perfectly.... Bones came right off the ribs. Mac and cheese was creamy, not dry. Desert was a great end to the evening. Read more
