I read where it was a romantic place to have a drink and maybe an appetizer. Only a couple appetizers to choose from and a few... kinds of soup. Certainly an iconic landmark in Cincinnati but I?m not sure why this was rated so highly by the ChowdownCincinnati FB page. Read more

Gorgeous decor, but I was blown away by our servers kindness. Wow just attentive and sweet. Thank you. The food was yummy and so... were the mimosas. Read more

A phenomenal art deco bar located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati! Every turn is absolutely breathtaking! I didn't know... Cincinnati had such a place and I most definitely recommend checking it out. It hold lots of architecture, marble work, artwork, metal work, and all things art deco. Awesome employees throughout the hotel and restaurant. Would most definitely recommend! Read more

A once in a lifetime experience that was worthy of 5 stars. Every course that we had was paired with a wine that Morgan helped... choose for us. If you want a unique and special eating experience than look no further than the Orchids at Palm Court. Fromthe historic 1930's when this hotel was built to the renovations with themed venues. Our waiter, Chauncey was a delight and tookus for a tour. Read more

If you are looking for an exquisite meal in downtown, this is the place. Service is top-notch, and the wait staff will work to... make sure you enjoy your experience with questions like ?any allergies we should know about? Our waiter was also very down toearth, and helped us in our first fully coursed meal. The food is beautiful, as well as delicious. My scallops and pork bellywere fantastically salty and creamy, and the Blue Cheese beignet were delightful. The room itself is the beautiful Art Decodining room inside of the Netherland Hotel at Carew Tower. Great experience. Read more

We visited Orchids for our 38th wedding anniversary on a Tuesday evening. We almost had the place to ourselves. There was good... attention to detail from the staff as they recognized our special occasion with a card and several treats during the meal. Foodwas what we have come to expect from Orchids, well prepared and thoughtfully presented gourmet food. We enjoyed our evening andplan to return. Read more

Wonderful night at the Orchids at Palm Court. Excellent service (shout out to our waiter Solomon!) in a beautiful, one of a kind... art deco building. We had such a fun time with the ambience and live jazz, delicious food and interesting "bites" sent out bythe chef to try. Read more

Have been here twice now for the tasting menu. The first time(about two years ago) it was great! It was ten courses and it... seemed most of it came special from the chef (Only a one or two courses were from the regular menu). This time was good as wellbut did not blow our socks off like the first time. It was eight courses, but everything was from the menu so it didn?t seem asspecial. Also, I believe the menu said $120 for the tasting menu/ person but when the bill came, it was $130. It does not seemlike much when we paid about a total of $500 for the two of us but it is worth noting. Also we were there for almost 5 hoursfrom the time we were seated. I would like to have seen a faster pace. The wait staff is always fabulous and attentive. Read more
