Drive thru closed 3pm on Thursday the 29th of September. Exceptionally rude staff. (Especially the lady with the fake eyelashes... and the five o'clock shadow on her lip.) I have yet to get an order from this location as complete or correct. Whether I order thru app or at drive thru, they either... short a piece of chicken, or a side, nothing huge, just enough not to run back up for, and each seems to be forgotten. .. mostlyby me! But at no time has this location been apologetic for messing up, or made orders right despite having called. I wish I could rate this place -5. We grab lunch here often because it's close to our place of business. I have never in my... life experienced such rude behavior. Just about every time I pull up to the drive thru its "what do you want" followed by rudeattitude at the window. Read more
OMG, don't waste your time going to this one. First of all the manager on duty during the lunch shift on July 3, 2022 was rude... AF! She is a micro manager, however, it seems like it is simply bc of her position (power trip) I say this bc she's surelywasn't making sure the place was kept up! The floor felt like it was mopped with LARD AND MUD! Just a slip and fall waiting tohappen. The restrooms were just disgusting, just down right duty from the floor to the ceiling and every dispenser and faucettoo! The icing on the cake was the spicy was being fried in old grease, it reaked of burnt chicken. The board of health shouldbe called on them and they need to be shut down! Rude people work there, they cannot get an order right and they make it feel that you are bothering them, tried to take the... survey but could not, IF you go there good luck and check your order because they will screw it up, I will NEVER be back at thatdump again, the board of health need's to take a peek at that place. Wow! This place has the rudest workers. They had a horrible attitude. Go to Chick Fil-A for chicken made with kindness. Not this... chicken made with hatred. If you don't like your job, there are SO MANY places that are hiring. Chicken was dry from sittingunder a heat lamp. All I could hear as I was eating my food was inappropriate conversations and talking about locking the storeearly (at 9:30pm). We decided to stay until 10pm, so other patrons could get the wrong order of sides with dry chicken. Read more
THE Worst. It is 9:52 pm on a Saturday. I came to the Reading Road Popeyes Location after 20 minutes and multiple telephone... calls went unanswered. I was attempting to place an online order; I had looked online to check the restaurant's hours, whichsaid the store closed at 10. Yes I was pushing it close to closing but to be honest, I was seriously craving some chicken andhoney and at the time I began trying to place my order it was only 9:15pm. I created an account online to be able to get the 5pieces of chicken, 2 sides and 2 biscuits for $8.99, online order and pick up only deal. Only once I got to checkout, itwouldn't let me proceed. I called the store, repeatedly, no answer. I figured I'd head down and maybe get some help and somechicken before the 10pm closing. When I got here at 9:45, the doors were locked and an employee of some level was sitting insideat a bar of sorts. I thought maybe only the drive through was open, even though the sign on the door stated that the restaurantas a whole was open until 11pm on Saturdays, an hour later than posted online. I asked, through glass, if I should go to thedrive thru. She shook her head and shouted "We're closed!" Confused, severely disappointed and still craving chicken andhoney, I asked back what time exactly do they close so as to know for future chicken runs. She looked around, smiled andshouted back "Now!" to which I looked at my watch and replied "At 9:52?" She smiled, nodded yes and went back to typing into herphone. Life post Covid-19 closings and restrictions have left many businesses struggling, many of which are restaurants. And weare all still trying to find our way back to some normalcy in this new world of ours. My husband and I stopped in for lunch. The overflowing trash can by the front door (that was filthy) should have been an... indication to run fast and far..but we stupidly didnt. We ordered 2 combo meals. The drink machine was out of ice and filthy. Ifilled my cup up with ginger ale...it was warm and had black chunks of I don't even want to know what they were, floating in it.Needless to say we didn't have drinks. While we were eating, a customer was at the counter and said to the worker, hey youdidn't give me my bank card back...she walked around the side and towards the back reached up and grabbed his bank card from theshelf.
