I was one of the best breakfast today I want to say a special thanks to KIMBERLY r service, CAPRICE r waiter and AVAGAY MOSSIS r... busser. These 3 lady's show they best services I could ask for. I can honestly say that I wasn't expecting as nice of an experience as we had! Hubby and I just strolled in for lunch, but now... we may have found our new favorite lunch spot! I had ordered the wagyu burger, and the hubs got fish and chips, and we had tosample both because the dishes were DELISH! Not only that, but the servers were delightful, and very polite for our diningexperience. The atmosphere is calming, and the prices were just right. I only wish I could have had room for dessert! Very disappointed with our experience last evening. Rude server, didn't write anything down, my husband's food came out wrong,... we ordered dessert and they messed up my husband's dessert as well. (Nothing comped, fixed or apologized for) I miss the formerrestaurant in the Hyatt which had a much better menu and wine selection. The Prosecco tasted bottom shelf or stale. We come tothe Hyatt every year and I can honestly say, I don't think I'll spend my money here again. Read more
What can I say!!! The Red Roost Tavern is the very BEST part of the Hyatt Regency downtown Cincinnati!!! We had a fabulous... dinner last night of Shrimp & Grits and Fish & Chips. Both entrees were fresh, excellently prepared and delicious!! The Sundaynight Manager recommended these dishes and they did not disappoint at all! The bartender did a great job providing me anexcellent beverage to relax with after a long car drive!! We came down for breakfast too!!! No disappointments with iteither!!! Waited at the host stand for 30 minutes. Then waited at the bar for another 20 before we left. The bartender said she would be... with us and then started doing dishes and restocking the liquor. I have severed before so I understand but 20 minutes withoutacknowledging us was a bit much just to try to get. Couple drinks and chicken tenders. We left. Read more
Nice stop for a quick evening drink, snack, or meal. I had dessert and my friend had the fish and chips. Dessert was a delicious... mix of fresh brewed espresso and a rich creamy ice cream. My friend raved about the fish and chips and how delicious the fishwas battered and fried. Read more
A group of us were in Cincinnati for a training this past weekend and dined at the Res Roost Tavern for dinner and breakfast. I... ordered the tavern burger, fries, and the spiked pink lemonade and all were really delicious. Others ordered the chicken stripsor wings. When we went for breakfast two days later, it was buffet style. I was so happy to have eggs, American fries, bacon,pancakes, fresh fruit, orange juice, and some hot tea that day for breakfast! We had dinner here and the Wagyu burger was fantastic! Next morning we had breakfast and it was quite substantial and delicious,... with available omelets and pancakes. The highlight at breakfast is always Helny! She is always smiling and happy to engage withthe guests and as a Hyatt Globalist and frequent guest at the hotel, I always ask to be seated in her section! I know I will betreated like family!
