This restaurant is cheap at this point. You have to pay for salsa, unlimited chips...but who the heck is eating chips in a... Mexican restaurant setting without salsa?? Normal Mexican fare, high prices. Seems different than it was several years back when there were fewer competitors. Now with... so many choices, it ranks toward the bottom of the list for value, in the middle for food selection, and in the middle-high forquality. Went there with a party of 11. There were no reservations so we just waited for a table. The wait seemed to drag by but it was a... large table so that's probably why. The server was attentive and split out bills up perfectly. I'm a vegan so eating out can bea challenge. There was a vegetarian section where I could take off the cheese to make it vegan. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. Very richly themed. It is a bit on the pricey side depending on the dish you choose.... The portion size was large which makes the price tag a bit more bearable. The food was hot and fresh. To my taste it was a bitlacking in flavor compared to other local restaurants of the same type. The salsa and chips were very good. You do have to payfor them as an appetizer, which is a bit unusual. Overall I give it 3.5 stars Good but not great good in a cool atmosphere. Read more
