This was my first visit to Royal Taj. I was pleasantly surprised. So much of what goes into a great dining experience is the... attitude, kindness of the ownership and staff. I found everyone there with those attributes. The food was absolutely wonderfulespecially the chicken tikki masala (my favorite). It was the best I’ve had yet. My favorite place. All of their dishes are outstanding but I will say, with cold and flu season in full swing, have them on... speed dial. While having a 3 day cold, I ordered their mulligatawny soup and it pretty much resurrected me from the afterlife.Ginger, tumeric, chicken, etc. I also made sure to order their spiciest level. Edit: the owner called to speak to us and apologize, he was very friendly and apologetic about the situation. They are the best... indian restaurant in this area and have the best food! This is our usual Indian place which we loved BUT we decided to use themfor a large order for a baby shower I was hosting. I called the day before and early that morning when they told me to call toorder, I told the restaurant numerous times that the shower was AT 6, so I called at 440 ish to let them know I would be pickingit up at 5:30, they said okay. Within 5 minutes I received a call that I was told I needed to pick it up at 6 to which Icorrected the man on the phone stating the shower was at 6 & I needed it before then & he was extremely rude. I said okay fine,thanks. Fast forward 45 minutes later, I’m setting up for the shower, he calls and says it should be ready soon, I thank him &hang up. I had to send my mother in law to pick it up due to getting ready for the shower, she arrives and the man is extremelyrude saying “It’s been ready”. One: being rude isn’t necessary, two: their mess up does not warrant that behavior. I wasbusy and wasn’t going to rush over when I’m setting up. They’re lucky we even picked up the almost 300 dollar order at allwith the inconvenience, rudeness and mess up it caused. The morning staff was helpful and friendly and I understand messing upbut the evening staffs handling of the situation was nasty and rude. Read more

Royal Taj hasa plain decor, but don’t let that fool you. The quality is superb. They serve the food traditional family meal... style, with separate plates. We had mixed biryani, chicken tikka Marsala, and chicken tandoori. The food was excellent. Willcome again. Read more

The place looks like a hole in the wall, but I love small businesses and try to use them. The food was fabulous! The garlic... naan was fresh and yummy. The butter chicken was delicious! The servings are nice size. Two could split an entree, but we werehappy to have leftovers. The owners came by the tables to ask how we enjoyed our food. It is larger than it looks from theoutside. The decor isn’t stellar, so no first date. I will be back! Read more

There is nothing better when you don't feel well and you want something comforting to eat than the Saag Paneer. It's so creamy... and soothing. There isn't a lot of parking in front but there more in the back. They are very friendly and the buffet is reallygood. We went for dinner and order a lot off the menu, my word everything was amazing. For the great food the price is good. Wehave visited a number of time now and look forward to going many more. Read more
