Went here with my bro on a Saturday night. Had no reservation, but we were able to snag some seats at the bar. The Duck Leg with... grits was incredible. Highly recommend the grilled bread as a starter, it came with some bone-marrow infused butter which was anexcellent topping. Read more

My son wants to be a chef and is a BIG fan of Chef Salazar. For his 16th birthday, he picked this restaurant for his celebratory... dinner. We had a party of four, and none of us had been here before. Parking at Washington Park was close and easier thanexpected. We start with some 'Nibbles' including: > Grilled local bread with bone marrow butter and olive oil - YUM. We likedthe butter over the oil. > Little fried oyster sandwich - it is little! Really like a slider. But it was SO GOOD. Another personat our table ordered one for themselves after they saw the one my son got. > Crispy fried pig ears - these were like a crossbetween really crispy bacon and pork rinds. We didn't like the salad as much. For dinner, three of us got burgers. I liked thatthey would cook it rare, which is how my son and I like our meat. We shared the burger and the Wagyu sirloin. Both weredelicious! My son said it was probably one of the best burgers he's had (and we've had a lot of burgers!). I didn't eat the bunon my half, so he used the bone marrow butter on it. As sides, we got the mushrooms with umami butter and fries - which were sogood that my son got a second order of fries with dessert. For dessert, they brought my son a cookie with a candle for hisbday. He also got some chocolate fried pie thing with ice cream. The service was good, and we liked the ambiance as well. Nowthat I know where to park, we shall be back! We really want to try the chicken thigh dish on the Nibbles menu as well as theBranzino. Hoping to try Chef Salazar's other restaurants now, too. A friend familiar with Cincinnati suggested Salazar as a must stop and I'm so glad my husband and I did. We weren't too hungry... after our walking tour just down the street and decided to split a few things for lunch. We were lucky enough to sit outside andhad a terrific waitress. The food was incredible! It was the perfect amount and each bite was delectable. We were fighting oneanother of the last bits as we finished our meal. When we visit Cincinnati again, this would be my first choice for dinnerbecause I'm sure it would be to die for after the lunch we had. Read more

What an incredible meal. The fries were perfect, a variety of potato I didn’t even know existed. The duck leg dish was next... level. The grits were the best I’ve ever had, the duck had a crispy skin and was rendered to perfection. Not to mention all ata very reasonable price. Ambiance is always on point. The bartender was very kind and accommodated my request for a cocktailwith fernet. They freestyled it and it was perfect. I went by myself and have done so before. I would highly recommend takingyourself on a date there at the bar sometime. Read more

My meal at Salazar was fantastic. I appreciate how intentional they are with every dish, both big and small. I had the Brussels... sprouts, fried pig ears, cajun duck leg, buttered mushrooms, and Nutella crepe. Oh, and an absolutely sublime rye / strawberrylemonade cocktail. These people know what they’re doing. They are culinary artists. Their competency demands to be rewarded. Read more

Went to Salazar for dinner with a couple of friends. We had the brussel sprouts and shishito peppers. The peppers were... excellent, spicy, but not mouth numbing spicy. The brussel sprouts were rather charred but still quite delicious. We also gotthe branzino and the Cajun duck leg. Both were very delicious. The place is small and rather expensive, but quite worth it for aspecial occasion. Would visit again. Read more

Service, drinks and food were all fantastic! We had the special of the night, Wagyu Beef Tartar and it was the best beef tartar... we’ve ever had. And for entrees my husband had the bouillabaisse and I had the duck leg, and they were both delicious. Ihighly recommend this great restaurant to anyone in Cincy. Read more
