I love Skyline Chili. Hell, 50 of my 280 pounds have probably come from Skyline. I worked at the Kettering location for a solid... a seven years and know what it takes for a good functioning location and properly cooked food. Having recently started workingin Cincy I needed to find my go location. So far this is the front runner. Staff is on point and EXTREMELY NICE. SErvice is asfast as possible. The food is on point and highly above my standard of satisfaction. As a side note: I am writing this reviewhaving come her two days in a row. I know I know, but I can?t help it. It?s so good. I get it now. And the prices are very reasonable. Chili spaghetti?! Hummm let me tell you people, it works and it's delicious. ... This place was my first introduction to the famous chili spaghetti and it did not disappoint. A mound of cheese ontop of a pileof noodles noodles chili. Yummmmm The sauce definitely has a heavy brown sugar taste to it that our waitress said new customersalways say they recognize the flavor right away, but veterans do not. About 2/3s of the way in I could see how you don't tasteit anymore. Our waitress asked if we would like mustard on it, I couldn't understand why anyone would add that to this dish butafter trying it I could see how people probably love it that way, just not for me. We also ordered the chili dog withonions.... a great dog! And it made me wish I had ordered the spaghetti with onions!!! Adds a another layer of flavor as well asa great texture. Only small hiccup that bothered me was the manager. When i asked the cashier if they sold stickers,she askedher manager, who told her employee no, and continued on as if I could not hear her? Not a big deal but from a manager, maybe alittle professionalism? Not a big deal but it struck a cord with me for sure. I'm not the biggest fan of Skyline, bc cinnamon in chili !? ???? BUT for some reason I found the food more palitable than the... last time I went. Maybe they added new items to their menu. I ended up getting their deluxe burrito which was really good. Allof the toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and sour cream) must have helped hide or mellow out the cinnamon they put in theirchili, which I'm not a fan of. Read more
When visiting from Florida, everyone told me "You have to try Skyline!" Definitely a different experience. Delicious and... memorable. Read more
If you don't like Skyline we can't be friends! The servers and cooks do a bang up job and never disappoint.
