I originally wanted to go here because I was craving sushi and I saw some pictures where the sushi looked REASONABLY SIZED for a... REASONABLE price. I was beginning to give up all hope of finding a good sushi place around the Cincinnati area where theydeliver decent sized sushi for the price. Got seated quickly. Waitress and the atmosphere was nice. Both me and the person Iwent with ordered 3 rolls each. Other person ordered an eel roll, “spicy” octopus roll, and a special Sunday Morning roll. Iordered a special Mango Tango roll, and a special Paxton roll. I was so excited to have found a place in Cincinnati where theyhad great sized sushi for a good price. When the food came out, I was disappointed. First, their spicy rolls, like the salmonand octopus roll, aren’t really spicy. They only put sriracha mayo on top, which wasn’t even spicy to me or the person I waswith. These two rolls, along with the eel roll, were about the size of a quarter. Out of the special rolls, I would say the onlyone that was decently sized and maybe worth the price was the Sunday Morning roll. The two special rolls I ordered were thin anddidn’t have much content to it. Our bill came out to be around $50. I get their sushi is always half-off, which is nice, butthe size of them is ridiculous. Places in Ohio NEED to look up pictures of how California places do their sushi because they arecharging the same prices for exact rolls but give their customers much more decently sized rolls. Hopefully their ?? is moregenerous for the price, but according to other reviews, doesn’t seem so. Another thing that surprised me was that their ?? was$17. Honestly, just go to Jungle Jim’s and grab yourself some sushi and soju for less than this. SIDE NOTE: I’m all forlegalizing THE GREEN but you PROBABLY shouldn’t have kept HAPPY 4/20 on a whiteboard customers can see while seated. Read more

My friend, boyfriend and I visited Sushinati for the first time tonight for dinner. My boyfriend opted for chicken wings, ramen... and a sushi roll. I got the Hyde Park roll and Delta roll. Everything was so good. The atmosphere was nice and the artworkinside and outside is beautiful! I’ll definitely be coming back Read more

Good drinks, great menu, alright venue, so so value. Personally i love korean food and was excited after checking the menu out... online. I expected a slighty higher end feel to venue. It was a mildly tacky affair exagerated by overly loud yesterdays popfavorites playlist. I was expecting somewhere you might take a date for dinner but it was more of a latenight bites with a bartype feel despite the spendy menu. That being said service was stellar and our waitress was courteous, never hovered, and wastotally on the ball. The stone bowl was a generous portion size and had great flavor, i love their sauces as well. I had theshort rib which was absolutely incredible. Very tender and almost no chewey bits, i did ask for sauces to dip it in on the sidewhich i felt it needed to begin with. I loved the dish and will be back to order it again. What i was most impressed withoverall was the little things like superb rice, (you can always tell when a restaurant buys cheap rice or has a crummy ricecooker) and the tempura appetizer. The shrimp had a fresh meaty quality and the batter was light, crunchy, fluffy. Its hard tofind good seafood here and those shrimp were weirdly high quality for Ciny. The sweet potato and carrot slices did need to beblanched or sliced thinner however as the tempura fry time didnt quite cook them through. They used japanese purple sweetpotatoes though instead of the cheaper common types, really great flavor on them. Cocktails were good i was impressed and theyhad a good selection of asian lager which is fun when you go out for korean. I really enjoyed my visit and they gave us a couponin exchange for some feedback which was great. My principle complaint would be that they need to decide if they are a bistrotype place for the bar crowd or a nice sit down restaurant you could have a romantic meal in. They already know how to cookgreat food. Read more
