I order from sumo all the time and everything is always great! But today a young girl took my order over the phone and a lot of... things were wrong,I get back to Philly and call, instead of saying "I apologize come back and I'll fix it" she argued with mefor 15 minutes. I decided to go back over just for the five spicy mayos I ordered with my $150 order and she argued with meagain and also made me pay a dollar each for the spicy mayo that isn't even filled all the way, after drove all the way back andpaid the toll twice. Very rude and argumentative. Her customer service sucks and we all have bad days, she has to getbetter!!!! Read more

Best place! I come here all the time because the sushi is always amazing, so fresh and tasty. My go to is the shrimp tempura... roll but I do always try a new roll every time I order and I honestly have not ordered a roll I did not like. I also love theirmoney bags with the chili sauce, those are amazing! The staff is always friendly and it is a great atmosphere. Read more
The first time I had Sumo Sushi it was actually pretty good. But since then it’s like every time I order, the food gets more... tasteless. I just ordered Teriyaki salmon & orange chicken and neither of them have any flavor. The orange chicken saucedoesn’t have any taste, except a hint of orange zest and the chicken itself doesn’t taste like anything, not even salt. Thesalmon is the same exact way, even the teriyaki sauce tasted watered down. Maybe the food taste better if you dine in, but ifyou’re getting take out or delivery, give it a second thought. Today was our second visit and I will say it was just as delightful as the first. The staff are super friendly and... accommodating. The food is so fresh and tasty. They have a few selections that separate them from other sushi places and that,besides the service, will keep us coming back. I also tried the peach ice tea and it was the sugary best. This is not acceptable. This is some place I visit regularly for takeout and dine in once in a while. Today I had the worst... dining experience I ever had. The fact that we had a live bug on our sushi and the way they treated the problem was veryunpleasant. When we told the girl up front about the bug and showed her how it was still moving , all we got was a I'm sorry .No kind of panick no stress about the fact that there was a living bug on our plate. Sad thing is they treated this problem asit was a normal thing . Turned me off big time and alittle frustrated because no act was taken to please the costumer after theissue . Still payed for the whole bill including the sushi with the bug. Hoping we didn't get charged for the live bug we didn'task for . Things like thous shouldn't happen and if anything worst case if so should be treated professionally , made sure thepaying customer is taken care of. Read more
