Place was spacious and not poorly lit. It was comfortable and not too loud. Our server (Amy Jo) was so helpful, friendly and... took time to answer questions. She is a true asset to the business. Food was good but service was completely horrible. We ordered mozzarella sticks and didn?t even get them. Waitress was supposed... to bring mustard and ketchup with one of our cheeseburgers and that didn?t happen. We waited for a long time so I went to thebar and there she was talking away and another girl told her that she thought I wanted her. She finally came to see what Ineeded and I told her that we would like to have ketchup and mustard before our food got cold. I went and sat back down and shefinally brought it. Then overheard her telling another woman that they didn?t have her call in order. Some other women got up tolook for menus their self. I?ll start with saying our server Chloe was awesome, very sweet and none of this is was of any fault of hers. They were not at... all in any way busy. We stopped for a quick lunch and waited for an hour for a couple Rubens! Absolutely ridiculous, I couldunderstand if they were busy and short staffed but as I stated they were not busy. Such a disappointment. Not to mention theplace smells like mold. follow up: I will however amend this to say once we finally got our Rubens they were very good. Sweetpotato fries are also yumm. I noticed the reviews for Gibbys are all over the place so I decided to try. My daughter and I went in on Sunday afternoon.... They were not busy and we found a booth in the rear, the more bar like section. It took a wile to get waited on, we got outdrinks and ordered. I ordered the big pig out burger, I usually dont order "big" burgers, but I was intrigued by a burger withpulled pork on it. My daughter ordered a tenderloin sandwich. We both order frys , her crinkle cut mine steak frys. It tool agood 20 minutes to get our meals, which I would have no issue with, IF, I had received a good meal. My burger ended up being abeef, pork, Crisco combo. How much grease ( see photo) can one burger have frizzled over it. It was simply terrible. I took itapart and used a stack on napkins to try to remove the grease and re assembled it with simply the burger and pulled pork, Mywait person watched me do this and simply could care less. My daughters tenderloin was under cooked and she only ate part of it.The steak frys are simply potato wedges fried in oil, not what I call steak frys. After we had finished our meal, if you couldcall it that, the waitperson came over and ask us how our meal was, she dident care earlier why care now. I really wonder ifthere is a different cook on sundays? How could this place say open serving this food? I really think no one who works therecares, there is no passion for food, they care more about getting their shift done and going home. If that is so, its sad. Read more
