We had our anniversary dinner here, that ended up costing us $600, including broken car window and stolen backpack!! They don't... have cameras outside and not planning to install them... apparently car break-ins happens on regular basis here. Dinner waspretty good, cauliflower appetizer was the best part it! You decide if you're ready to pay $600 for cauliflower... Read more

I LOVE coming here! The restaurant is super clean, the staff is amazing and I LOVE their prime rib, wedge salad, Mac n cheese,... and Virgin Pina Coladas!!! I came for the birthday special, free steak dinner with purchase of one entree. Sign up for theprime club, it's amazing to be treated on your birthday! UPDATE: Wow. What happened? The 5 of us went out tonight, had areservation even. It was awful. Just terrible. I got the steak, lobster and shrimp trio with wedge salad and Mac n cheese. Lobster was tired and chewy. Steak was so so and very chewy. The shrimp was absolutely disturbing! I left it on my plate. The wedge salad and Mac n cheese were good. #2 had filet mignon steak sandwich with fries. What can I say? It was a loaf ofbread with a strip of steak. #3 had a burger and fries. It was fine. #4 had potato skins and Mac n cheese. It was fine. #5 hadavocado chicken sandwich, it was reported a 2 out of 5. I am so disappointed. I will never be back. The waiter was great, everything was great except for the food. The quality has gone so far down. I can't believe it! Read more

Service here is spot on and the food was good. For the price I would expect the decor to not be so tired. The front reception... area had well worn carpet and the upholstery had holes with stuffing coming out. The booths were slightly better. Again, if notfor the service this would have ranked 3 stars. The restaurant is very nice. We reserved a table early so we were seated right away. Our server was attentive, and the food... wasn't late. However, the taste of the food was not anything to write home about. Our appetizer was the spinach & artichokedip with chips and we couldn't eat it. The chips were way too salty. I had a ribeye with potatoes au gratin and a bakedpotato. He had a New York with broccoli and Mac 'n cheese. For both of us, the Mac 'n cheese and the potatoes au gratin werejust tooooo cheesy. My steak was just ok. Honestly, in my opinion, Texas Roadhouse has a tastier steak. The baked potato wasgood, but if this is the best thing I can say about my plate, I think that's a shame. I ordered the mud pie and ate a couplebites only. It wasn't fantastic. The free cookie for his birthday was very good though. Read more

Great service at all levels! Delicious food and good size servings. You get 'Rare' when you ask for 'Rare' - Prime Rib is not... easy to find in Sacramento, and especially one that isn't well done. Read more

Food was delicious, good service, nice cozy interior. Highly recommened. Second time here, brought my mom and brother for... Thanksgiving eve meal. Ordered two ribeye and a filet mignon, requested two medium and one medium rare but all came outovercooked like medium well or well done. Super disappointed. Also, for some reason the restaurant won't let customers buy thegift card and use it right away. Even though you can buy e-giftcard online and get it emailed instantly. Why making it sodifficult... Perfect for date night, appetizer, two entrees and dessert ~$80ish. Service was quick and they were friendly. Hot bread comes... with a meal! I got prime rib and it was worth it, slightly smoky, super soft and delicious! Read more

I have been attending this establishment since the 80’s when Black Angus used to have a dance floor... and til this day it... never disappoints. This particular time my husband and I were celebrating our four year wedding anniversary. Our waiter Sean wason top of it... quick with the order, joyfully engaged in conversation, refilled drinks... always making sure we had everythingwe needed. We enjoyed the Campfire Feast (had a coupon) and every item was to our liking, cooked perfectly precisely the way weordered it and served in a timely manner. The food was absolutely delicious (wagon wheel sampler, salad, rib eyes with sides andchocolate cake) and also good portion sized. We truly had a wonderful dining experience. My husband and I left very full andhappy. We will definitely return and always recommend this Citrus Heights Black Angus location to our friends and family. Read more
