My lady and I both ate the Kasoy soup, which was absolutely delicious. It was so rich in flavour and aroma. Also came to our... table nice and hot which is a big plus for me. The gentleman who served our table was extremely friendly and gave us a warmwelcome. At last I found my place for a good soup. Can't wait to be back for more. I highly recommend this place, should youneed a bowl of soup. Will post some pics on my next visit. Read more

While driving around the Sacramento area in the evening looking for a late-night dinner spot, I happened upon Hotpot... Express. Hotpot Express provides an innovative take on the traditional hotpot experience in which diners can select theirbroths (up to 3 different broths can be chosen) and then select their hot pot contents from a self-serve refrigerator. Dinersare charged by the plate with each colored plate representing a different price point. They provide a medium-sized selection ofnoodles, vegetables, meats, fish cakes, and dumplings for patrons to enjoy. The owner was very friendly in explaining therestaurant's concept and providing us with recommendations, which we appreciated given it was our first time at this spot. Wewent with the miso and authentic boat noodle broth. Both broths were very flavorful and I'm definitely glad we were able tosample both! From the fridge we went with a selection of noodles (egg and udon noodles), napa cabbage, seafood mushrooms, fishballs, and tofu. The hot pot ingredients tasted fresh and of high-quality. If you're looking for a new hot pot place to trywith a unique dining experience to go along with delicious food, then I definitely recommend giving Hot Pot Express a try! Read more

The server was super cool! He has an amazing vibe to him and the pricing wasn't bad at all. For split broth, 13 plates, 2 drinks... and a tasty breeze, was only $105 and fed 4 people stuffed. Amazing service, great variety of meats, vegitables and dumplings.10/10 would recommend. Read more

BeBack Rating- yes sir! We were passing by the area and just happened to notice their business sign. We were curious to see how... good their hot pot was since we've had it before and loved this style of Pho. The best thing about hot pots is that you can addall kinds of meats, seafood, and vegetables that you prefer to eat with the Pho broth. Well, they did not disappoint. We lovedthe idea of picking the ingredients in the different colored plates in plain view so you absolutely know what you're adding tothe soup. We had the beef flavored broth with....well, see the pics. Yes, I agree that the person who helped us was polite, helpful and attentive. The only negative would be the bowls and plastic soup spoons. I prefer regular utensils and sturdy bowls. Finally, the three color drink was one of the best ones I've had and I've taken in a whole bunch of em' over the years withit's various tapioca and jelly ingredients. Overall, spending the 15 bucks per person average was worth it at this restaurant! Read more
