I have been coming to mizuki restaurant for many years now. I have always enjoyed the food, good prices, and good sushi.... Recently the quality of their sushi is not the same. The prices have gone up about 3 to 4 dollars more for a roll. Price went upand quality went down! They have started to skimp on the amount of fish on the rolls and when I left the restaurant I felt superexhausted and bloated after eating the food. Sushi is not supposed to make you feel like that. I even woke up in the morningfeeling super bloated and my face had swollen up from the food. I?m not sure what is in their sushi now but they are no longergetting my business. The red hot habenero masago is AMAZING!!! Our bill was $110 for the 3 of us, but we ordered a ton of food and sashimi platter as... one of our appetizers . The sashimi was nice think cuts, well worth the cost. The quality was great. We will go again. Read more
I knew I wouldn?t be disappointed when I walked in on a Wednesday and had to wait 20 min for a table - this place was packed! It... was worth the wait. My server Michael was super friendly and nice, my pomegranate Paloma was yummy, and my Pimped Out roll wasgreat. I would definitely return. We came to this Sushi place for lunch because were visiting family members who are living in the Sacramento area. I'm definitely... surprised to how many Sushi places they have here. There are at least three to four Sushi Restaurants in every corner! They areall over! Since we not really familiar with the area we stopped by this Mizuki Sushi restaurant due to it happened to be theclosest one to us at the time and the fact that we love eating Sushi. The Services here are great, the waiters were friendly,helpful, and most importantly the food here is fresh and delicious! So to start off with some rather unfortunate news, this restaurant does not care about the feelings or view of any of their... customers about their music. Their music is censor-free, raw curse word music, so not a very professional thing to doconsidering how many families eat with their young kids inside the restaraunt and in the background there is 21+ music playingwith curse words, management needs to fix that. I'm not trying to be a karen, just looking out for the kids who don't have to beexposed to that atmosphere. Now onto the food. Its good sushi, tasty and yummy, nothing too special or crazy. Always thought the whole "serve it on a block of salt" thing was kinda overrated. I was wrong. It's delicious. I literally get... "Taste of the Himalayas" every time I go now. Citrus roll is also a favorite! Read more
We?ve been coming here since they open their doors. This is honestly my favorite sushi spot. I absolutely love everyone that... works here and the food is absolutely delicious. Their miso soup is definitely one of the best in town! Simple but full offlavor. My favorite thing to order is the pepperfin (see photo). The albacore just melts in your mouth, the Fish is alwaysfresh! Over the years, I have not had even one bad experience. This is obviously why we keep coming back. We literally get sushifrom here once a week? at least Just go eat here! You will not regret it, I promise! Read more
Another recommended place. We got the medium boat. Delicious and so fresh. Clean, polite staff, and fast service. Piping hot... tea! Love this place. We did not talk much while we ate. Savored and gobbled. I highly recommend this place. Read more
