While looking for a great dine-in Chinese food restaurant for our anniversary We happened to luck upon the Temple Garden... restaurant. We got there at 5:00 p.m. and had a delicious dinner of Shrimp Egg Foo Young, which I normally don't favor. But thisfoo young changed my opinion forever! First, it was almost 2 inches thick. And stuffed with shrimp, eggs, bean sprouts, onionsand flavors so savory, that the Temple House Oyster sauce on top had me coming back for seconds. And the most wonderful HoneyGlazed Pork Spare Ribs I've ever had! They were so tender and glazed in just enough honey to not be too sweet. With sliced,roasted garlic slivers sprinkled on top. Their House fried Rice is awesome also, mixed with chicken, beef, pork and much more.The portions fed us completely with enough take-away for a great lunch the next day. We can't wait to go back! I brought a friend here today. I drove by this place and decided to try it. This place is in the same area as Food Maxx. The... staff is very friendly and responsive. The place was clean and cozy. I got the general Chao lunch special with fried rice for6.99... He got the steak chow mein and sweet and sour prawns which he loved. The general chicken was fresh and delicious. Ireally enjoyed it. The food just needed a little more seasoning, but everything else was perfect. Nothing that a little of soy sauce can fix. I... also prefer it like this than over seasoned. Also, the portion is amazing for the price you get. Nonetheless, they were soquick, my food was ready in 10mins!
