It seems the workers there dont even bother with menu and insisted using barcode to order. Whats up with more personal service... by "taking order"? They might as well hire robots to do the work than these useless workers who don't wanna be there to work.Pathetic experience. Read more

Tea is awesome but the food is okay in general. The service is not good. Some servers dont pay attention to what the customers... want/order, i have to go back and forth for a simple thing. After a year, service has been improved dramatically. Tea is stillgreat with decent food in general. Read more

Good place for personal hot pot. The authentic dishes and teas are delicious and refreshing too.

The drinks are decent but the food is just ok. The hotpot I ordered looks and taste bland. The fried tofu is flavorless as... well. Staffs are friendly and parking are plenty. Overall, it's a pricy Taiwan street food but in a restaurant. Skip it. Read more

Veggie rice and ground beef bowl. The hot jasmine green tea latte is pretty good.

4.25 STAR. Overall. I’m pleasantly surprised at this place, I walked in thinking it’ll be a bad lunch experience but I’ll... endure it to hang out with friends. The food quality is up to par and not overly salty. Apparently my friends are frequentcustomers here, and now it’ll be added to my list of would return places. Only thing that lingers on my mind is that a largedrink and single bowl of soup noodle costs me $20 flat out the door. Not exactly inexpensive, especially when I can get rid oflunch and conveniently feed a whole family with In-n-Out located in the same plaza. Its appeal to me is that it offers uniqueand light items on the menu that other typical Taiwanese restaurants in the area do not offer. Most other Taiwanese places onlyoffer fried, fried, deep fried, and overly fried food... so glad I can not feel dry here. Short by a star, despite the boba teatasting good, is that its non-caffeinated tea drinks is nearly non-existent. I do get sick of caffeine overdose and do prefer amore relaxing system with milder, calmer tea from time to time, so I don’t have to stay up until 3:30 am as it occurred...I’d be glad to up the star when more options become available. 4.5 STAR. $11.95 Hakka Salty Pork Noodle Soup. Pleasantlysurprised at the flavor, texture, and even the feel after the meal. This special black-colored noodle does not leave me feelingheavy and bogged down like regular noodles do. The pork was distinctly flavorful and the soup was not overly salty. Serverrecommended this as a popular dish on the soup menu section, as it’s my custom to find out upon initial visit. Did notdisappoint. I wish there was more soup in my bowl, but I know everyone consumes differently so it’s hard to get it justperfect. (I had 1/3 bowl of noodles unfinished, my friend had none yet the soup is completely untouched.) 4 STAR. Boba MilkTea. Great boba texture, smooth natural tea and milky milk flavor. Strong caffeine effects. I don’t usually prefer to getcaffeinate Read more

Since I am originally from Taiwan, and have been to Hanlin Tea Room in Taiwan, I must say this place really lost the typical... “zen” feeling of the Tea Room. Wrong music, wrong lighting. I remember in Taiwan, they play Chinese instrumental music withyellow-ish lighting, which creates wonderful quiet zen feeling. In this location, the lighting is also too bright, absolutely NO“ZEN” feeling AT ALL (as they promote on ads). Yet, food and drinks are good. I wish they could really make the Tea Roommore “zen” to stands out in the crowd. There are already too many similar Tea places around this area. Read more
