They had their salsa bar stocked and available to customers (many locations do not yet have their salsa bars open) , but did not... mention that to me on the phone when I asked if I could get several pico de gallo portions to be used at home with the meal Iwas purchasing. I could have used the bar to select as many as I needed. Instead they charged me $4.50 extra for a littlecontainer of pico de gallo that held maybe 4 or 5 of the little cups available at the bar... they were also not very pleasanton the phone even though I had thanked them profusely for their help with my order.... not going back to this location. We have always enjoyed the salsa bar and food at Baja Fresh. This location is particularly nice, the folks there tease you and... joke so the dining experience is fun. The reason to knock things down a star is on Baja Fresh corporate - the salt in the foodis very high, the fajita veggies have too high a percentage of large chunks of both yellow/red onion and when that's notthoroughly cooked it's quite pungent (and it's too much anyway) and they do not offer a reasonable vegan option (which theycould with their current ingredients but it would be nice to have better veggies). This is one of the better local Baja Fresh restaurants, haven't had on off meal there yet. Some of the other ones you can get... skimpy burned tough steak, or fish that probably should have been thrown out a few days earlier, but at this location the fishhas always been fresh, and the steak cooked just right with good portions and no gristle. It was my first time coming here in over ten years. The cashier seemed a little impatient that I was unfamiliar with the menu,... but the food was great and the facility very clean! At first I thought it was a little spendy, but discovered their portionsizes are quite large! The ingredients are very fresh. I think I prefer here over the nearby chipotle - freshness at chipotlehas been very hit & miss for me, and they?ve become less generous with their portion sizes. I absolutely love this Baja is my favorite! They are always clean and get my order right. I?ve been to the Baja at mall 205 n... Gresham Baja and they are disgustingly not clean and they always get order wrong not to mention salsas are fermented n tastelike alcohol. Sunnyside Baja is the best!
