The bartender wasn't unprofessional, but her attitude was not very friendly. The food was very good but they forgot part of my... order so i had to wait for them to cook it. It wasn't very busy so it was pretty quiet and really nice. Read more

What a crazy waitress we had today! I always have the German pancake, today it came out without the toppings on it ,they were on... a side plate, I told the waitress that I?d never had it served that way and she replied their restaurant had always served itlike that, I replied I?ve eaten there every 2 weeks for the last two months and never had it served that way, she told me thatI?d been eating at a different location! I also have had it in my Salem location every 2 weeks and it?s never been served likethat! The pancake needs to be hot so the toppings blend into it and it absorbs the flavors which it didn?t today, it was also abit smaller . I can?t imagine a waitress ever telling a customer that she didn?t know where she?d been eating all of thesetimes! Read more

Very very busy. Many families with kids quite literally running around. This restaurant used to be quiet, until the nearby... Denny's closed. Hope it helped the business. Food was really good, the german pancake was a little burnt though.. overall good -won't come back during busy hours though. Read more

If you have special eating restrictions I would not recommend eating here. I have to be careful what I eat, no grains, no dairy... and no sugars other than fruit. I explained to the waitress my eating restrictions. I told her all I wanted was the salmon theveggies and some fruit. I got a very small dish of fruit as my appetizer. My plate I got a small piece of salmon smothered insalsa, a few small slices of roasted veggies and a huge serving of rice pilaf (which I cannot eat). All of that cost me about$20. I will not be going back. Read more

It's so wonderful going maskless to a restaurant and hearing the buzz of a busy establishment. German pancake was on point and... is a "must try" item from their very large menu. Courteous service was the icing on the cake. Read more

My wife and in-laws have lived in this neighborhood for for the week years I have known them. The day we moved them out of the... house I got to finally go! I wish we?d gone years ago. The menu is extensive and has something for everyone. You will notleave hungry as the portions are huge. We were there for breakfast so it was pancakes and bacon. If I could make a change tothe mean it would be less crisp,in the bacon. We split the dishes and it was plenty. Our server was nice and the food gotthere quickly. The place is huge, quiet and traditional. Read more

My fiancee and I as well as our son came here for breakfast before venturing to the coast on Friday 8 20 21 and I specifically... picked Elmer's because I am never disappointed with any of their locations. Almost never. The food here was okay but I was verydisappointed with my potato pancakes. Every other Elmer's I have eaten at has had wonderful, crispy on the outside, soft andflavorful on the inside potato pancakes that are made traditionally with shredded potatoes and onions being formed into apancakes with a SMALL amount of flour to bind it. What I recieved when I ordered them were regular pancakes with onions andpotatoes in them. Horrible texture and very undercooked, not to mention it just wasn't what I ordered. I'm not sure if this ishow someone was taught to make the dish or if someone was just being lazy but instantly made me regret coming to the locationthat morning. Read more
