I hadn't eaten here in a few years. I recently ate here on a Wednesday for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The... service was fabulous. It wasn't busy at 2:30 p.m. so we received ample attention. I had a delicious lamb briyani (rice) dishthat I cant remember the name, sadly, that was absolutely delicious! I devoured the entire plate of generously portionedfood. The food runner brought us this incredible home made hot sauce and mentioned it would be good with this dish. I think Iended up using half the bottle!! So flavorful that I bought both bottles they offer for sale. Red and green hot sauce. It's amust purchase if you're into hot sauce! This is a spacious restaurant which is great for larger parties. I'd call ahead forreservations if you have more than 4 people just to be safe. I was there for a meeting and wanted to look around, but was denied. They have areas that you can rent out for events. They ha... e a small stage for live music it is at the back of the patio area they have. The food I was able to see and the food on themenu (their website only) looked like it was more Mediterranean. They do have some American food, but not much. This place isnot my cup of tea, but there are many out there who will love this place. It is a nice restaurant, located in downtown area of Claremont! I have been here several times. The meals, that I have ordered,... were delicious. At the same time, they were well prepared. The wait time, for the meals, was not long. In addition, the waiters,who tended my table, were helpful and attentive. The cocktails, too, were well-made. So, I would recommend anyone who enjoysfine-dining, to visit this restaurant. Of course, prices were on the expensive side. Still, despite this inflation, they wereworth it. We had high expectations for Walters. Its an old mainstay of Claremont and we had heard high praise for Walters- multiple times ... .Full points on ambience and service. But alas food wasn't all that impressive. Lamb dishes lacked flavor and so did the pasta.The best dish on the table was the simple Goat Cheese pizza. The Afghan fries fell short on seasoning and flavor . The Asparagusfries were just ok. Dessert on the other hand was pretty good...the Tiramisu and Apricot tart saved the day.
