Just picked up dinners. They have the best fish! Not cheap but certainly worth the money. Fried haddock and a Maryland... crabcake dinner were delicious. They have other fish like trout, yellow pike, shrimp, etc. All fresh and cooked to perfection! Read more

It appears that since the owner retired, they are struggling to build this band beyond what the owner accomplished in prior... years. Inconsistency plague this new team of operators especially when you consider the "COSTS" of a dinner. Premium prices foraverage foods. Nothing special here people... Too bad the competition is weak in this area. Read more

We haven't been in a while. Very disappointed with our dinners. Baked red potatoes were 80% uncooked. Corn on the cob tasted... spoiled. My salmon was dry and overcooked. My wife's halibut was similar. Our experience was shocking. Staff seemed unconcernedwith just about everything. We have enjoyed many many dinners over the years at Hayes. It will be difficult for us to returnafter our recent dreadful meal. Read more

Highly recommended!!!!!! My favorite Haddock Fish Fry, like no other. Most other fish frys are grease and have a soggy batter.... Hay?s fish fry is flaky white haddock with a light crispy batter and definitely not greasy at all. I?ve been coming here forover 17 years when they used to have a location on Harlem road when 50 people were in line waiting to pick up their seafood onFridays during lent. It was always worth the wait. They even have a lot of the same staff from 20+ years ago, a true familyrestaurant. Thank you for providing amazing seafood and awesome service. Read more

great seafood restaurant/store that offers the option to dine in or take out... you can order raw seafood to go or have them... prepare things for you- grilled, broiled, blackened, on a salad!! my friends & I had beers, appetizers, entrees, and desserts-everything was delicious. the shrimp cocktail was fresh and served with lemons and cocktail sauce... fried scallops wereperfectly breaded and came out piping hot, served with tarter sauce... for entrees there was a lobster roll that was healthilystuffed with lobster, two salmons, and a seafood dish- all came with two sides... bread pudding & key lime pie for dessert... incase you missed what I said earlier, everything was delicious!! I was pleasantly surprised! Seemed very casual upon entry (you order at the counter, food is brought to you) but the food spoke... volumes! Wide selection of seafood, tasty complimentary sides, good drink pairings. I was a little overwhelmed and wasn't surewhat I wanted so I asked for recommendations. Employee helped me narrow it to the Icelandic Wolfish, which was a fabulouschoice! Cooked and seasoned amazingly well, the natural buttery taste was like none-other! The catfish was also very good! Ilook forward to visiting again! Read more
