Wow... a simple small town, one cross roads and this restaurant is there. The few people that live here are very lucky and... spoiled because the quality, service, range of drinks, and prices were all 5 stars. An absolutely wonderful experience! Drinks were tasteful, entree selection was superb. Everything was incredible and delicious!... There was not one bad meal between our family of 5. Waitress was very friendly and accommodating. 100% would recommend to allfriends and family who want a quaint, upscale meal in the heart of the village. We arrived to find that they didn’t have the reservation I had made a week before. However we were able to get a table. I have... gone there for many years because I love their Chicken Mars. When I ordered it I was told they “were all out”. I questionedhow this could be possible since it was only 7pm. Finally the waitress admitted that they “weren’t serving it “ thatevening, even though it was on the menu. The dinner I did have was alright, just not what I was looking forward to. Delicious food, expertly cooked to perfection. Plenty of options to choose from, such as lobster, lobster tail, pork chop,... filet mignon, NY strip steak, chicken, pasta. I got the filet mignon and was very pleased. The average price per person, Iwould say you should expect to pay $50, and it's well worth it. I'm giving this place only 3 stars because of the noise. There are NO soft surfaces in this restaurant. It's all wood. And wood... is beautiful, but not when I have to shout at my table companions during conversations... Now the food. I came with 3 otherpeople. Person no.1 ordered the breaded haddock. Came back dry and overdone. Person no 2 ordered the pork chop. She neverfinished it and did not take it home. Person no 3 ordered the angel hair with shrimp and scallops. They forgot to add theshrimp. So they gave her a complimentary glass of wine.( She was really hoping for the shrimp in, her meal. ) My dinner was aburger cooked medium with homemade chips They didn't let it rest, so my roll and plate were covered in juices. It was a messyeat. For $18 bucks I expected better than a messy burger and potato chips. There is no parking lot and we parked on the street.The neighbors were not so accommodating, as they did not bother to shovel the side walk.
