Very disappointed in my experience today at this Starbucks! The cashier took my order but never asked my name for my order. I... was the only African American woman in line but she asked a name for everyone in front of me and after me. My order was made butapparently someone took it (maybe because there was no name on it) so I had to wait longer for them to remake my order. Needlessto say, I won?t be returning to that location. I went to the Clarendon Hills, IL Starbucks in the downtown area on Thanksgiving day. Behind the counter was a male employee... with two female employees working. They were obviously stressed out from taking numerous morning orders. The male employee (blk.hair, large frame) was VERY RUDE! I asked him in my order for cream in my two coffees. I could tell he was not paying attentionand when I received the coffees from the female employee, no cream. So, I walk back in and ask for "cream." He was quick topoint out, "Come on man, ask nicely. I'm stressed out and its Thanksgiving." Now, I could have had empathy for him, but youdon't tell the customer to be nicer just because you're having a bad day. I like Clarendon Hills and the Starbucks is a staplein their little town. They need to do it better! What makes Clarendon Hills a neat little town is its Charm. This morning I placed a mobile order and walked over to this location before catching the train. I waited and waited for more... than 10 minutes while other customers came in, ordered, had their drink made and left. A group of young girls walked in abouttwo minutes after me and was waiting a long time. One of them finally said something and this prompted me to do so as well. Ithad been more than 10 minutes and 10-15 orders had come in and gone out while my drink had been sitting there unmade. The guybehind the counter even told the other lady working that he was fine and caught up despite having 4-5 unmade drinks sittingthere. When I spoke up, I got an incredibly rude and patronizing response from the man behind the counter with curly hair. Infact, he stopped making drinks, causing more of a delay, to patronize me. His response to me as the customer was so out of linethat I left without my drink. I have never been talked to like this and would be fired if I ever spoke to someone like this inmy job. Nice neighborhood, but the dirtiest location I have ever visited. Both the floor and the counter tops were very sticky. I'm not... sure how food and drinks can be served in such a dirty environment. I'll think twice before going there again. Read more
